Goldberg
Unforgiven: Goldberg wins Gold
By JASON CLEVETT -- SLAM! Wrestling
It's been considered a fact since the RAW after Wrestlemania when Bill
Goldberg made his debut that he would end up with the RAW World Title
around his waist. Six months later the plan came to fruition as last
night Bill Goldberg defeated Triple H in a lackluster match to win the belt. In reality, this title switch should have occurred during the
"Elimination Chamber" match at last month's SummerSlam. There, the crowd
was rabid for Goldberg as he decimated Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels and
Chris Jericho and beat the hell out of the champion before losing to the
dreaded sledgehammer of doom. The crowd tonight was apathetic,
especially during the last three matches. Although they chanted the
challenger's name on his entrance and victory, aside from that they
didn't do much.

Goldberg speaks his mind in new bio
By GREG OLIVER -- SLAM! Wrestling
The comparisons will be drawn between Bill Goldberg's new book and those of both The Rock and Mick Foley. All three wrote their books when they were on the top of their game, and best able to capitalize on their popularity.
And we'll be waiting to see if Goldberg's 'I'm Next' is the next wrestling book to hit the top of the charts. Somehow I doubt it, if only because nobody's watching WCW these days.

Goldberg and Bigelow brawl at video shoot
By JOHN POWELL -- SLAM! Wrestling
The Goldberg - Bam Bam Bigelow wrestling feud is over in front of the cameras but according to a report in today's Vancouver Sun, it could very well be real not just a fictional storyline.
On Thursday, Bigelow and Goldberg supposedly got into a real fight while shooting footage for the next WCW Electronic Arts video game. Goldberg and Konnan had arrived ahead of schedule at a Burnaby, B.C., studio as Bigelow and another wrestler named Sarge were grappling in the ring. Goldberg confronted Bigelow. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion claimed Bigelow had been bathmouthing him in the media. The two began brawling causing $5,000 damage to the studio.

Goldberg hammers his critics
By JOHN POWELL -- SLAM!
Wrestling
Like him or hate him as a pro-wrestler, you've got to respect Bill Goldberg - the man. Though Goldberg's story isn't unique in the biz, a pro football player stepping off the gridiron and into the squared circle, it takes a person of great will to carry on after everything they've worked their whole life for is scattered to the wind.
Big dreams die hard.
