WASHINGTON CAPITALS TEAM REPORT
Sunday, April 4, 9:13 PM

*Washington Capitals Team Report*
---------------------------------

Last result: 4-3 loss at Pittsburgh, April 4
Streak: Lost 2, winless in 3 (0-2-1)

LW Kip Miller might have played his last NHL game in Sunday's
4-3 season-ending loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Miller
scored his ninth goal of the season and had four points in his
final three games. ... C Jeff Halpern collected two assists and
had eight goals in his last 15 games. ... The Capitals won only
two of their last 18 games (2-13-2-1) and were winless in its
last nine road contests. "This has been a special group," coach
Glen Hanlon said. "We have battled through some situations as a
team that they will never experience again - the move of
players 10 minutes before a game starts. We have asked young
men to be older men and they have accepted it and played."
