RW Kelly Buchberger most likely played his final NHL game in
Sunday's season-ending 4-3 victory over the Washington Capitals.
Buchberger ended an 86-game goalless streak on Friday.  He was
chosen the No. 1 star of Sunday's game.  ... The Penguins
closed a difficult season in strong style, going 12-5-4 to end
the campaign.  That mark came after an 18-game winless streak.
"The true colors of someone of some team is not when things are
going great, but when things are tough," coach Eddie Olczyk
said.  "It was a great way to end the season. We felt we played
pretty darn well for the last 25 games really, and that's even
into the streak where we lost the 18 games in a row."
