to March 25, with a fractured right thumb.

Detroit Tigers - Sent outright pitchers Steve Colyer and Gary
Knotts to Toledo of the International League (AAA).

Los Angeles Dodgers - Placed pitcher Eric Gagne on the 15-day
disabled list with a sprained right elbow.

Minnesota Twins - Named Bob Kurtz public address announcer for
the 2005 season.

Oakland Athletics - Extended the contracts of president Michael
Crowley and general manager Billy Beane through the 2008 and
2012 seasons, respectively.

Philadelphia Phillies - Purchased the contract of infielder Jose
Offerman from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre of the International League
