You CANNOT exceed the 10-player limit and must select one player from each of the ten (10) lists provided. The players you select will accumulate points based on the SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 Basketball Challenge scoring system (see below) and the performance of the players on your active roster in actual games. Only statistics from 2004-2005 regular basketball season regular NBA Season games will count towards the contest. SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 Basketball Challenge point totals will be tabulated daily and the results will be posted Monday through Friday before 5:00 p.m. ET throughout the duration of the contest. The daily point totals will include all SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 Basketball Challenge points accumulated up to and including the previous night's 2004-2005 regular NBA season games. The standing to determine winners for the first weekly contest will commence on Wednesday, November 3, 2004.

The odds of winning are increased by early entry and participation, and depend upon the number and timing of entries. The Contest shall coincide with the 2004-2005 regular NBA season and end at the conclusion of the 2004-2005 regular NBA season.

There will be twenty-five (25) weekly contests in the SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 Basketball Challenge (see Weekly Contest Schedule below). Weekly contests run for a seven-day period from Monday to Sunday inclusive (excepting Week One which runs from Tuesday, November 2, 2004 through Sunday, November 7, 2004; Week Sixteen which runs from Monday, February 14, 2005 through Thursday, February 17, 2005; Week Seventeen which runs from Tuesday, February 22, 2005 through Sunday, February 27, 2005 and Week 25 which runs from Monday, April 18, 2005 until the conclusion of the 2004-2005 regular basketball season). To be eligible for a Weekly Prize, a new contestant must submit an entry prior to 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Monday (excepting Weeks One and Seventeen). To be eligible for the first weekly contest, you must have submitted your selections by 8:00 p.m. ET, Tuesday, November 2, 2004.

A new contestant can submit an entry at any time and become eligible for weekly, monthly, and grand prizes. All new contestants will begin to accumulate points for all games played beginning on the next weekly contest (Monday at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time) for which they have entered. If the entry is received after 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time on or after a given Monday (or, in the case of Weeks One and Seventeen, Tuesday) the new contestant will not begin to accumulate points until commencement of the schedule on the following Monday. Points WILL NOT be awarded retroactive to the beginning of a week. That is, if you enter the contest on Friday, November 19, 2004, points will be awarded effective with games starting on Monday, November 22, 2004, NOT as of Monday, November 15, 2004.

Contestants who have registered for the SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 Basketball Challenge can make unlimited on-line changes (trades) to their team at any time each week. Contestants may trade any player on their active roster. However, when a player is traded from a roster he MUST be replaced by a player from the same category. There is a weekly trading deadline of 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) each Monday. Although contestants may make trades any time during the week, a contestant's active roster does not change until 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) each Monday. Each Monday at 1:01 p.m., any trades made before the trading deadline (Monday 1:00 p.m. ET) will take effect and the newly acquired player will replace the traded player on the contestant's active roster as of that Monday. The changes are not retroactive. The last trade made in each category will be the one that counts for the purposes of scoring for the upcoming week. If no changes are made before the weekly trading deadline, the team will remain unchanged for the next week. In the event that a game is scheduled and begins prior to 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on any given Monday, and player changes are made by the 1:00 p.m. deadline, the points accumulated by the newly acquired players will count towards that Weekly contest period, regardless of the basketball game's start time on that Monday.

After a new contestant submits an initial entry, any trades made by the new contestant will not take effect until the commencement of the next weekly segment. As per the scoring system below, you will accumulate points based on the performance of the players on your active roster in actual games.

SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 Basketball Scoring System

Each player selected earns Fantasy Points (FPs) according to the following formula:

Each Assist earns
2 points
Each Rebound (Offensive or Defensive) earns
1 point
Each Steal earns
2 points
Each Block earns
1 point
Each Turnover earns
