Brenda Graham wrestled with the idea of leaving her husband at The Toronto Sun building and going home with WWF superstar Booker T yesterday.
Graham -- the winner of a Sun contest for a pair of ringside tickets to WrestleMania X8 and the opportunity to meet Booker T -- likes men who are "rough around the edges."
"And Booker T has that bad-boy streak, not to mention he's a good-looking guy with a physique that won't quit," Graham, 51, said. "I love (my husband) but Booker could be tough competition for my affection."
OFFERED $2G FOR TICKETS
Graham's husband, Bernie, was offered $2,400 for the tickets to the March 17 extravaganza, but his wife refused.
"You can't put a price on ringside seats," the North York resident said. "It would take a lot more than $1,200 a ticket for me to part with them."
Graham sees wrestling as a soap opera, and admits she was hooked from Day 1.
"I've been going to these shows for as long as I can remember," she said. "Because of my age and because I'm a woman, people are usually shocked to see me at the shows. But I'll keep on going as long as I enjoy them."
110% EFFORT
And Booker T guaranteed he'll put on a performance to remember.
"I'll be putting in a 110% effort to give her the greatest show she's ever seen," he said, promising to give his opponents his trademark spin-a-rooney move. "The people will get what they want."
For those not lucky enough to win tickets to the March 17 fight fest at the SkyDome, tickets go on sale tomorrow. Ticket prices are $25, $45, $75, $95, $125 and $275.
A limited number of Platinum Ringside Seats -- like the ones the Grahams will be sitting in -- are also available for $600 and include a commemorative WrestleMania X8 chair.
