Mad Dog Vachon still has his bite
WINNIPEG -- Beware Winnipeg - the Dog will be loose in your city later this month!
Lock up your raw meat because
Mad Dog Vachon is coming back to his old
stomping ground.
Vachon lived in Winnipeg for two years, but visited the River City on
many other occasions for wrestling shows. This time around, he's coming
in for the special tribute show being run by No Holds Barred Wrestling
and Joe Aiello on January 30 at the Franco-Manitobain Cultural Centre.
"I'm looking forward to that," Vachon told SLAM! Wrestling. "I think I'm
going to get there on the Monday. I told them to send me a ticket a
couple of days early. I'm going to visit some friends."
So the Dog does still have many friends around town? Yep, "and a few
enemies!"
"It's nice of them to do that for me," he said. "It keeps me busy. I'm
not that busy, but I keep going to different shows. I went to Minnesota
for three shows a couple of weeks ago. It was good for me."
Less than a week after visiting Winnipeg, Vachon and his wife Cathy
leave for a vacation in Hawaii.
Tickets for the Mad Dog Vachon tribute show, which features
Terry
Taylor,
Kurrgan, Dr. Luther,
Cyrus and
Swinger, are available at
Jabroni's Hardcore Wrestling Store in Winnipeg.
