Jericho makes his WWF debut

And so the Y2J problem has arrived in the WWF.
That meaning Y-2-Jericho of course, he of the "Raw is Jericho."
Dressed in a silver jacket, Chris Jericho returned to the Monday night wars last night during The Rock's interview segment.
After blowing kisses to the audience, Jericho said that he is "the new Millennium for the World Wrestling Federation."
"I am Chris Jericho, your new hero, your party host, and most importantly, the most charismatic showman to ever enter your living rooms via a television screen," he said.
After Jerry 'The King' Lawler joked about Jericho's silly, ponytailed-on-top hairdo on the air, Jericho continued his speech. This is "the dawning of a new era in the WWF," he promised, saying that now more than ever, the WWF needed him, "a knight in shining armour."
Jericho rattled on about dropping TV ratings, poor PPV buyrates and lousy storylines (perhaps he thought he was still in WCW) and said that he had "come to save the WWF."
When Jericho finally ended his yapping, The Rock replied "after three boring minutes, The Rock says know your role and shut your mouth!"
Jericho acted surprised that The Rock would say something like that to him, and cowered on the entranceway. Throughout the skit, he played about as severe a heel as the WWF has these days, yet the crowd popped at many of his lines and the TV cameras showed many, many Jericho signs.
It now appears that Jericho will face The Rock down the road.
