Hart may need pacemaker surgery
By CAMERON MAXWELL -- Calgary Sun
The head of the first family of wrestling might have to undergo surgery to get a pacemaker installed.

Stu Hart, who turns 86 next week, may need the procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat, which has resulted in medical complications.

"Doctors will decide in two weeks if he needs a pacemaker or not," said Helen Hart, Stu's wife, from the family home yesterday.

"But he's really doing well."

Stu was hospitalized April 12 after suffering from pneumonia and heart troubles.

The legendary wrestling patriarch spent nearly two weeks in Rockyview Hospital before being released under the provision he bring oxygen tanks home to help his breathing.
