ECW's official Web site (
http://www.ecwwrestling.com/) is reporting that Raven (Scott Levy) has "come to an agreement" and returned to the hardcore fed in time for the Thursday night television taping in Queens, New York. Footage filmed tonight will be included in upcoming broadcasts of ECW's weekly television, ECW On TNN.
When contacted about the Internet announcement, Steve Karel - ECW's Managing Director - was tight lipped about the deal.
"As the managing director and the man who runs the entire business of ECW, my only comment is...watch and wait," said Karel.
Raven received his release from World Championship Wrestling earlier this week when WCW Vice-President - Eric Bischoff - held a meeting before Monday Night Nitro went to the air. Bischoff agreed to release any wrestler who was unhappy with their status in the company. Raven promptly walked out of the dressing room and called his agent. Recently, Raven has publically criticized WCW in the mainstream media and made it known that he would be leaving once his contract was up later this year.
Before leaving ECW in 1997, Raven was a mainstay of ECW winning the fed's World Heavyweight Title on two occasions and ECW's World Tag Team belts twice with his partner Stevie Richards.
