A Dynamite autobiography

www.dynamitekid.com
By GREG OLIVER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Finally, it looks like we're going to be hearing from The Dynamite Kid.

The long-time recluse will release his autobiography, Pure Dynamite: The Autobiography of Tom 'Dynamite Kid' Billington next week.

It was co-written wth British author Alison Coleman, and was over five months in the works.

"It took him a long time to get it done because obviously he tires quickly," said Colin Bowman of Billington. Bowman is president of The Howl Group, which is handling the North American distribution.

According to Bowman, the book will raise money for Billington, who is in ailing health. Pure Dynamite has been printed in the UK and is now on the way over the Pond.

At the book's web site, www.dynamitekid.com, there are plans for a live chat with The Dynamite Kid later in November.

The web site also has details for ordering the book, but alas, has no ecommerce component. Phone orders are avaiable, and email (which SLAM! Wrestling wants no part in any way). It sells for $23 USD.

It seems that the many, many questions that wrestling fans have about one of the greatest wrestlers of all time are close to being answered.
