ECW's Heyman set for RAW
Reports from the official web sites of the World Wrestling Federation and Extreme Championship Wrestling have stated that something is cooking for this evenings Raw Is War broadcast, based out of Washington, D.C.

"By now, we have all heard about Paul Heyman being in Washington, D.C., the site of tonight's RAW Is WAR. Why is Paul Heyman there? No one knows for sure why Paul is in Washington. Whatever the reason for Paul being in Washington, one must ask what will happen with ECW wrestlers?" ecwwrestling.com reported.

The ECW site made allusions to grapplers like Rhino, Jerry Lynn, and Tajiri also making an appearance, possibly in conjunction with the likely appearance of their former employer in Heyman.

"If Paul does show up on RAW, what will it mean for former ECW stars Justin Credible, Rhino, Jerry Lynn, and Tajiri, all whom have signed contracts recently with the WWF? Will Paul invade the WWF and start his own faction within the WWF? Will Paul want to show wrestling fans just how EXTREME he and his wrestlers can be?" the site stated.

The WWF was little more sedate in posting the news.

"ECW owner Paul Heyman is in Washington D.C. today -- the same place where RAW IS WAR takes place tonight! Heyman has been the subject of numerous Internet rumors as of late -- and rumor has it he might appear on tonight's show in some capacity!" wwf.com reported.

Speculation is that Heyman's appearance will serve several purposes. First, Heyman is being ticketed as a replacement to Jerry "The King" Lawler, who left the WWF last week in protest of his wife Stacy Carter being released. The second reason could be that Heyman has also joined the WWF creative department. Also, with the recent signings of ECW stars, it is looked upon that the WWF will also use Heyman in a story line as the leader of an ECW faction that has come to take over the WWF. Finally, his appearance on Raw will also most likely be used to promote ECW's next PPV, which is touted as possibly being its last, and is currently scheduled to occur on March 11.

Fans in Canada will have to wait until after the Brier for RAW to air on TSN. The TSN schedule lists a half-hour of RAW from 10:30-11 pm ET, then the full show (minus TSN's typical editing of course) at midnight ET.
