With a last second hand from Da Bomb, The Sun's Deadline Doug Lunney
managed to win his grudge match against Vance Nevada last night at The
Palladium.
Despite being outweighed by 19 pounds, the 207-pound ring-rookie displayed
a natural flair for the ring and aggression that will serve him well.
However in his pro wrestling debut, Deadline Doug was clearly outmatched by
the more skilled Nevada.
It was only because Nevada chose to flaunt his superior ring skills and
taunt the crowd that Lunney stood a chance. Even then the rookie required an
arm-bar takedown on Nevada from his newfound pal Da Bomb, as Lunney lay
unconscious on the mat, enabling him to win.
As a result of the loss, Nevada will have to appear in the Winnipeg Sun as a SUNShine Boy.
Check out the Sunday Winnipeg Sun for all the details on Deadline Doug Lunney's TRCW
debut.
