After several months of sitting on the sidelines, Scott Hall is set to step back inside the ring.
The troubled ex-WCW star will make his return to the ring next month when he competes for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Rumours and speculation that New Japan had planned to book Hall came to fruition this week when New Japan released the full line up and schedule for its Hyper Battle 2001 tour that runs from March 3rd to March 20th.
Hall is scheduled to compete in a series of six-man and eight-man and regular tag team matches on the tour, teaming with former nWo teammate Scott Norton.
On the final night of the tour at Tokyo's Yoyogi National Stadium Gym II, Hall will wrestle a singles match against Manabu Nakanishi (formerly Kurosawa in WCW).
This won't be the first time Hall has wrestled in New Japan.Ê Before signing with the WWF in 1992 where he wrestled as Razor Ramon, Hall routinely worked on New Japan tours in the late 80s and early 90s.Ê His last match in New Japan was on May 3, 1997 when he teamed with Kevin Nash and Masa Chono against Keiji Mutoh (AKA: The Great Muta) and Rick and Scott Steiner before 53,000 fans at the Strong Style Evolution spectacular at the Osaka Dome.
