Baby McMahon: Who's the dad?

By TIM BAINES -- Sun Media

 Oh, baby!

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley dropped a bombshell on her storyline hubby and real-life main squeeze Triple H on RAW. She is pregnant.

This came after Triple H had torpedoed her request to renew their wedding vows on tomorrow's RAW. It was then she told Triple H a baby was on the way.

But, not so fast. Don't be surprised if the child in her tummy is not a baby Game.

Don't be shocked if it's a baby Y2J, courtesy of a storyline affair with Chris Jericho. That would certainly play into the Wrestlemania main event in Toronto on March 17, with Triple H facing Jericho.

And it would be an interesting twist if Stephanie bushwhacked her husband, then revealed a night later, on RAW in Montreal, that the baby was not Triple H's.

  • Tickets have gone on sale for the March 18 RAW in Montreal, and the March 19 Smackdown! in Ottawa, where there was a line waiting for tickets Friday night. Montreal and Toronto could be in for some more big news in May. Montreal may get a Smackdown! with Toronto, just two months after Wrestlemania, playing host to a RAW.

  • The nWo members -- Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall -- are hanging out backstage at the WWF TV events, but still have made no appearance. Maniacal Vince McMahon has vowed to poison the WWF and showed the first TV vignette of the threesome on RAW, confirming they had signed. Look for the nWo to disrupt next Sunday's No Way Out pay-per-view. They are supposed to make their TV debut the following night on RAW, but this is the WWF so it wouldn't be a total surprise if they appeared this week.

  • Goldust has identified his target -- Rob Van Dam. But the high-flying RVD didn't take kindly to Goldust's amorous intentions and attacked him on Smackdown!

  • Blame the Olympics. RAW will not be shown on TSN at 9 p.m. tomorrow or next week. You will have to catch the midnight showing tomorrow, or watch it at 7 p.m., on Tuesday. Next week's will be shown at midnight, with a repeat Wednesday at 10 p.m. The March 4 RAW will air at 10 p.m., with the usual midnight show.

  • Maven was a shocking winner of the hardcore title on Smackdown!, defeating The Undertaker with some help from The Rock.

  • There is also a new women's champion as the beautiful Trish Stratus was defeated by Jazz on RAW.

  • Jericho has a new theme song on the way, performed by Sevendust.

  • The buzz is Scott Steiner is close to signing a deal with the WWF.

  • The British News of the World dished out the goods on Booker T, real name Booker Tio Huffman. The newspaper said the 37-year-old served 19 months in jail for aggravated robbery in 1987. There's no question the Bookman has turned around his life and is now one of the WWF's rising stars.

  • Former NWA star Nelson Royal died last Sunday of a heart attack on his way home from church.

  • The WWF reached into its bag of tricks on Smackdown! to bring out a fake Steve Austin to face Jericho. The real Austin showed up and cleaned house. He called the fake Austin back into the ring and said he wasn't a very good imitation because he didn't smell like beer. After inviting his guest to swig a wobbly pop, Austin gave him the Stone Cold Stunner. So much for southern hospitality.
