We should have seen it coming.
We should have known that Triple H was the mystery attacker who blindsided his former Kliq buddy Shawn Michaels through a car window.
But during RAW's dramatic ending Monday, we saw conclusive evidence, proof that Triple H was the attacker. And with no regrets, Triple H fessed up. That's why he is The Game, the cerebral assassin.
That sets up what could be a wonderful match at Summer Slam -- The Game vs. The Heartbreak Kid. Michaels hasn't wrestled in a WWF ring for years and fans have been clamouring for this to happen.
This could be Michaels' final match, one last chance to relive past glory. Or, could it be one of the most-anticipated comebacks in pro wrestling? It could depend on how Michaels feels after the match ... if he wants to continue the comeback further.
TSN censors had their fingers on the buttons again Monday. Another appearance by The Island Boyz was censored and deleted. The Boyz used their "three-minute special" appearance to beat up on ring announcer Lillian Garcia. TSN refuses to show the scenes because they depict violence against women.
Jerry Lawler on Tommy Dreamer's mood: "I'd say someone peed in his cornflakes this morning, but he'd probably like that."
Goldust, telling Booker T he had been ripped off by Goldmember, introduced his little sidekick, Mini Dust, on RAW.
Lawler, again, talking about elderly Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young: "They're rubbing themselves down with Absorbine Senior."
Victoria debuted on RAW, defeating Trish with some trickery.
Paul Bearer's wife, Dianna, has been battling cancer for the past year. Results from a test indicate the cancer is gone.
Hollywood analysts believe The Rock and Vin Diesel could be the two action movie stars of the early 2000s.
Once Ric Flair stops stylin' and profilin' ... when his wonderful Wooooo! has been silenced from the squared circle, he's thinking about a career in politics. He's got his eye on running for governor of North Carolina on a Republican ticket.
Brock Lesnar left Hulk Hogan a bloody mess in the Smackdown! finale. Hogan, in the twilight of his Hall-of-Fame career, seems to wind up with a crimson mask just about every time he goes near the ring these days. Lesnar is tuning up for his Summer Slam main event against WWE champion The Rock. It wouldn't be surprising if Lesnar wins the title.
It would seems as if WWE may return Kurt Angle to babyface status. He would be a perfect foil for the un-Americans -- Christian, Lance Storm and Test, all Canadian lads.
