Hart attack at Starrcade
Bret Hart was front and centre at Starrcade last night at Washington's MCI Center and the World Championship Wrestling heavyweight belt is now in question because of the Hitman.
Hart, who was at ringside for the long-awaited Sting-Hulk Hogan confrontation, refused to let the timekeeper ring the bell after a quick three count by referee Nick Patrick in Hogan's favor.
Sting then applied the scorpion death lock and Hogan submitted, leading people to believe Sting had won. No doubt the bout will be under review.
In other matches, Kevin Nash failed to show up for his bout against The Giant, sparking speculation that Nash had jumped back to the rival WWF. Curt Hennig lost the U.S. title to Diamond Dallas Page and Larry Zybysko defeated Eric Bischoff, with some help from Hart.
