Stone Cold floors WWF boss

By MR. X -- Ottawa Sun
PARTS UNKNOWN -- Steve Austin had some stunning news for WWF boss Vince McMahon during last Monday's thoroughly entertaining RAW is WAR.
Austin dropped McMahon to the mat with a Stone Cold Stunner, furthering his reign of terror to new heights, then was paraded away from the ring in handcuffs.
The following night's taping, in Albany (to be shown this coming Monday), saw Austin get in McMahon's face again and say something to the effect of "you'd better fire my butt, or I'll kick yours."
You can bet Stone Cold won't be fired.
Another highlight of RAW was the appearance of Cactus Jack, another alias for Dude Love, in a "falls-count-anywhere-in-the-building" barnburner against Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

She's scheduled to renew her vows that night and could wind up staying with Brian Pillman ... Bulldog may have sustained a real injury at the RAW taping ... Owen Hart will meet Faarooq for the Intercontinental title.

WCW BITS: Disco Inferno won the TV title from Alex Wright ... Larry Zbysko will referee the Scott Hall-Lex Luger Halloween Havoc bout ... Kevin Nash, according to one source, had knee surgery knocking him out of action for awhile ... Could Hollywood Hogan turn on his NWO cronies, perhaps in December?... Because of the baseball playoffs and the start of the hockey season, the debut of WCW Nitro on TSN has been delayed three weeks to Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.

MAT NOTES: Pro Wrestling Illustrated has flipped its lid. Its listing of the 500 most important people in wrestling is topped by Dean Malenko, followed by Mitsuhara Misawa, Steve Austin, Dallas Page and Lex Luger. Hollywood Hogan is 55th with Bret Hart 20th. Someone call for a brain scan ... The Ultimate Warrior has a website (http://www.UltimateWarrior.com) ... Admission is $5 for children and $7 for adults. Take a new toy and get in free. Among the matches is a Vader lookalike (Big Slam) vs. Steve Corino (1-2-3 Kid wannabe).
