New Age Outlaws back with a bang

By MR. X -- Ottawa Sun
PARTS UNKNOWN -- Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, the New Age Outlaws are not only alive and well, they're the WWF's new tag team champions.

The Outlaws were re-united at Smackdown just in time to take the tag straps from Mankind and The Rock.

RINGIN' IN AT STRAIT'S: There's going to be a whole whack of hurtin' going down at Strait's Dance Hall and Saloon in Bell's Corners tomorrow, at 2 p.m. There's a wrestling card going down with Dangerous Dan Steel facing the Bruiser in the main event. Among the other wrestlers on hand are Jack Damage, Tornado, Rico Rodriguez, Dan Gervais, Magnus, P.T. Moon, Billy Boogie and Max Moon.

AROUND THE WWF: Hunter Hearst Helmsley fought his way into the equation for tomorrow night's Unforgiven pay-per-view. Vince McMahon, back in the WWF thanks to a pardon from head-honcho by Stone Cold Steve Austin, promised Triple-H he'd be a part of the 6-Pack main event if he could win 3-of-5 matches on Smackdown. Triple-H lost to The Big Show, beat Kane in an inferno match, lost a handicap match to Mideon and Viscera, beat Mankind in a boiler room match and defeated The Rock with some help from The British Bulldog, the special guest ref. The 6-Pack will feature Triple-H, Rock, Kane, Big Show, Mankind and Bulldog, with Austin getting a match against the winner. Could McMahon turn heel once again and cost Stone Cold the title? ... The WWF was successful in forcing Playboy to change the cover of its special upcoming Sable issue ... TheRock.com, a new website, should be open for business ... Speaking of The Rock, he was joined by NHL stars Mike Modano and Brett Hull at Smackdown in Dallas ... Among the other bouts at Unforgiven is Jeff Jarrett vs. Chyna.

WCW BITS: WCW Mayhem is about to hit the shelves and by early accounts, the video game is dynamite in both its Play Station and Nintendo 64 formats ... Is anyone else getting a little sick of the Steiners? Big Papa Pump? Dog-faced Gremlin? Give us a break!

ANARCHY RULZ: Taz, heading for the WWF, was involved in a terrific match against Mike Awesome at the Anarchy Rulz pay-per-view last Sunday. Awesome won the heavyweight title.
