Austin a criminal mind?
Saturday, October 17, 1998
By MR. X -- Ottawa Sun
PARTS UNKNOWN -- Stone Cold Steve Austin wants to be judge and jury for tomorrow night's Judgment Day pay-per-view.

But he's more like the criminal in the eyes of WWF boss Vince McMahon.

Austin took his feud with McMahon to another plateau on RAW, dumping a load of cement in his boss' Corvette convertible. McMahon, in a wheelchair, responded by dispatching his new bodyguard, Big Boss Man, to the ring to pummel Austin at the conclusion of the show.

What we didn't see after the show went off the air was Austin recovering and dumping McMahon out of his wheelchair.

Austin, the guest referee for the Kane-Undertaker championship match tomorrow, says he won't raise the hand of either competitor in victory. That's possible. Somehow, some way, don't be surprised if The Rock somehow gets involved in the match.

AROUND THE WWF: Ken Shamrock won the eight-man Intercontinental championship tournament, continuing his turn as a heel ... You've got to love Mankind's "Mr. Socko" routine ... Matches for Judgment Day include Mankind vs. Shamrock; Rock vs. Mark Henry; New Age Outlaws vs. Headbangers; D-Lo Brown vs. X-Pac; Legion of Doom with Droz vs. DOA with Paul Ellering; Al Snow vs. Marc Mero; Goldust vs. Val Venis; and Christian vs. Taka ... Goldust is much better as a heel ... Toronto will host a live RAW show Feb. 8 ... What's this Blue Blazer gimmick? Is it Owen Hart? Or is there an angle to this, too?

WCW BITS: The WCW should lay off the Scott Hall drunk routine immediately. Art imitates real life in this case. Hall has a problem and he needs help. It's not something that should be made fun of. Speaking of Hall, he became involved in a hotel bar slapdown with Buff Bagwell ... What's with the Chucky angle? ... The Ultimate Warrior and Sting teamed up Monday. It was a reunion for the team known as the Blade Warriors years ago.
