Shamrock new I-C champ

Well, there will be no more dissing of Ken Shamrock just because he hasn't held a title.

Last night on Monday Night Raw, he won a quickie Intercontinental title tournament to be crowned the new champ.

The previous champ, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, was forced to give up the title because of injury.

Shamrock beat X-Pac in the finals of the tourney, but it could hardly be called a fair match. X-Pac had just finished beating Mankind in the semi-finals when Shamrock came in, tossed around X-Pac, and then for some reason the match started.

At Judgment Day this weekend, Shamrock will defend against Mankind.

Below is the bracketing for the tourney.
