Kulka's ring debut to highlight RAW

By MR. X -- Ottawa Sun
PARTS UNKNOWN -- The Corel Centre will be the centre of the universe for the World Wrestling Federation in just nine days, with a night of RAW is WAR mayhem coming to town.

While details of the matches are still sketchy, it was confirmed this week that former Ottawa Rough Rider Glenn Kulka will make his ring debut, after learning the tricks of the trade in the Hart Family's infamous Calgary dungeon.

One of the night's matches has Bret Hart, Owen Hart, British Bulldog and Jim Neidhart meeting the Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vader and Dude Love. Plenty of tickets are still available.

AROUND THE WWF: It's been reported Stone Cold Steve Austin has returned to action, dropping Hunter Hearst Helmsley with two stunners and Chyna with yet another Yet another report, though, has Austin missing Survivor Series. Go figure ... Look for Bret Hart tonight on MAD-TV (Fox) at 11 p.m. ... TSN is showing RAW live, Monday at 9 p.m. Don't miss the lead-in Survivor Series highlight package at 8. ... The highlight of last week's RAW was Mankind slapping the mandible claw on Sgt. Slaughter ... Don't expect to see Undertaker vs. Kane until Wrestlemania ... The Sun's CANOE site will be hosting an interactive Q and A with the Headbangers Friday.

WCW BITS: Reviews are in for WCW's Halloween Havoc and unanimously, it was horrible. Roddy Piper beat Hollywood Hogan in the main event, with Eric Bischoff and Randy Savage eventually interfering. Among the highlights was Miss Jacquelyn beating Disco Inferno, Ric Flair pummelling Curt Hennig and Lex Luger winning over Scott Hall by DQ. Diamond Dallas Page lost to Savage in a bout full of foreign objects.

GRINCH STEALS CHRISTMAS: Outaouais Pro Wrestling had a great idea with its show last Sunday, asking for presents for Toy Mountain instead of the admission price. Response was tremendous, but it seems a thief wrestled away most of the gifts. In the show, Eric Shelly beat Judus, Andy Ellis beat the Mobster, Primus beat the Rocker via DQ, the Iceman beat Golden the Giant, the Road Killer beat Todd Heroshima and Bruiser lost by DQ to Jason.
