Owen and Bulldog staying in WWF
By ERIC FRANCIS -- Calgary Sun
After spending two days in Calgary contemplating his wrestling future, Owen Hart will return to the WWF today.
Upset over the underhanded way his older brother Bret was chased from the WWF, Owen said he needed to clear his mind.
"I left to make a statement," said Owen, 32 yesterday.
"I'm disgusted by the way they treated someone whose been with the company 15 years. The fact that he's my brother makes it hurt even more. It puts me in an awkward position because I'm stuck between my brother and my job."
Owen considered going with his brother to the WCW. But with several years left on his contract, he decided to try to work things out with boss Vince McMahon.
Brother-in-law Davey Boy Smith will do the same.
After orchestrating the stripping of Bret's title Sunday, McMahon met Bret in the dressing room -- where the Calgarian punched McMahon.
