WWF plans Toronto BBQ

Things are getting Hot for the WWF in Canada.

In fact, to celebrate the warm weather in Toronto, the WWF is inviting fans down to The Docks on Friday, May 28 from 12-4 pm for a BBQ with the wrestlers.

Besides autograph sessions, the WWF plans to make use of the great toys at The Docks, like batting cages and a driving range.

The WWF will also be making a 'major announcement' that affects Canadian fans from coast to coast. However, SLAM! Wrestling is sworn to secrecy, so hang in there. We'll report it when we can.

With the crew in Hamilton that night at Copps Coliseum, WWF Canada has booked Ken Shamrock, Edge, Val Venis, Owen Hart, Road Dogg, Debra, The Big Show and Big Bossman at the event.

The event is free, and The Docks can accommodate over 10,000 people. It's located at 11 Polson, along Toronto's waterfront.
