RAW night in Cornwall

By MR. X -- Ottawa Sun
PARTS UNKNOWN -- Cornwall is getting a RAW deal from the World Wrestling Federation. On Nov. 11, one night after the WWF tapes RAW is WAR in Ottawa, the wrestlers will roll into Cornwall for a RAW taping which will be shown the following Monday.

HOORAY FOR HITMAN: Bret Hart regained his WWF title for the fifth time at last Sunday's SummerSlam, defeating the Undertaker in a match with lasted nearly half an hour.

Special ref Shawn Michaels helped decide the outcome when he cracked the Undertaker with a chair aimed in the direction of Hart. Michaels was roundly booed the following night on RAW and told the crowd to go to hell, the first step on the road to becoming a heel.

SAY HELLO TO THE SARGE: Sargeant Slaughter was introduced as the new WWF president Monday night and he wasted no time in making his presence known, telling Bret Hart there was a new sherrif in town.

SLAM JAM: Brian Pillman was forced to wear a dress Monday night after losing his match to Goldust at SummerSlam. In other matches, Legion of Doom beat the Godwinns; Ken Shamrock went bananas on the British Bulldog after being introduced to some dog food; Disciples of the Apocolypse lost to Los Boricuas, Stone Cold Steve Austin won the Intercontinental belt off Owen Hart and appeared to sustain a real neck injury. A highlight was Mankind climbing to the top of the cage in his match with Hunter Hearst Helmsley and delivering a flying elbow smash with fans chanting: "Superfly, Superfly."

AROUND THE WWF: Dude Love subbed for Stone Cold against Owen Hart on RAW and won when Austin interfered and cracked Hart with one of his Slammy awards ... A source says Jim Neidhart and Sycho Sid are gone. And the little birdie also says Michaels may pop up on an episode of TV's Baywatch next season ... Confirm, or deny: Is Sunny going to do a Playboy shoot?

WCW BITS: The WCW stages Road Wild on pay-per-view tonight, beginning at 7. And there's a new champion in place after Lex Luger racked Hollywood Hogan on Monday's Nitro. Tonight's main event is a rematch ... Former NWO kingpin Ted DiBiase has switched sides, allying himself with the Steiners for their fight with the Outsiders, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. ONtv has dropped Nitro from its lineup.

TSN may add it to its late-night lineup ... Look for a Hall-Larry Zbysko match soon.
