Edge, Venis taking WWF by storm

They're articulate and pleasant, muscles rippling through their T-shirts. But when they go to work, they leave the niceties behind.
They're professional wrestlers.
Toronto's Adam Copeland is transformed into Edge, a mystery man who appears out of nowhere to inflict punishment on unsuspecting victims.
Peterborough's Sean Morley, raised in Oakville and Markham, becomes Val Venis, a pseudo porno star who parades to the ring in a towel and little else.
They're part of the WWF's New Generation and if crowd response is any indication, they're both a huge hit.
"It's been a long road," says the 245-lb., 6-foot-3, 27-year-old Morley. "I've worked very hard to get here and I'm going to work just as hard to stay here."
"Five years from now, I'd like to sign another five-year contract," says Copeland, who at age 24 is 6-foot-4, 235 lbs.
The pair are in Ottawa to pump up interest in the WWF's Nov. 8 show here. Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. at the Corel Centre, with Venis and Edge on hand. Both of them like the characters they've been given by WWF owner/choreographer Vince McMahon.
Morley says: "I got a call from (McMahon) one day and he said they had a character, Val Venis, a porn star. That was it, Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo."
"I'm still this mysterious guy in the rafters running in and popping people," says Copeland.
