The Warrior returns
Well, it was quite an entrance.
After months of rumours and almost-appearances, The Ultimate Warrior is back. Except now he's just The Warrior.
Monday on Nitro, The Warrior (real name Jim Hellwig), came out to interrupt a Hollywood Hogan interview. And for that at least, we are thankful.
"There's not a Warrior I can't beat to get my belt back," brags Hogan in-ring.
The lights flicker, then go out. Sounds and voices fill the arena, and out comes a shadowy figure, being lit from the back, so you can't tell who he is exactly.
Hogan trembles at the sight.
Warrior cries "Talk to me Warriors!", which makes Hogam exclaim "I thought you were dead!"
Hogan, in his panic, offers Warrior a NWO-Hollywood T-Shirt, which the ex-WWF World champ turns down.
Warrior warns Hogan of an approaching Revolution, the lights go out again and the ring fills with smoke.
A decent performance all-around, but hey, let's reserve judgement until The Warrior returns to actual wrestling.
