At the moment, Mickie James and Kenny Dykstra aren't on the WrestleMania 23 card. But that hasn't stopped them from heading out to promote the show.

On Tuesday, the real-life couple took part in a WWE promotion with VIA Rail, taking a train from Toronto's Union Station to London, Ontario. VIA and WWE have a WrestleMania package set up to get fans to Windsor for 'Mania on April 1st.

WrestleMania is on everybody's mind in the dressing room, said Dykstra, formerly of The Spirit Squad. "Everybody's pretty hyped up about it," Dykstra told a wire service. "People started training early for this. It's definitely going to be something big."

James, a former two-time WWE women's champion, will also be on the outside looking in after losing her title to fellow diva Melina two weeks ago on RAW. James admitted she would much rather be in action at Ford Field on April 1, after capturing her first women's title in her Wrestlemania debut one year earlier.

"Obviously it's not the same as wrestling in your first women's title match at your first Wrestlemania, but it's definitely a lot of fun," said James. "I love to see how people react to it all, and have them come out and enjoy it."

James will watch Melina defend her newly won title against Ashley Massaro, the newest member of the WWE diva stable who recently posed for Playboy. But the 27-year-old James is just glad to be OK after taking a hard fall in her loss to Melina.

Late in the March 5 match, James attempted a hurricanrana -- a high-risk head-scissors move from the turnbuckle -- but instead fell on her neck, crumpling in a heap on the mat. James was stiff and sore afterwards, but escaped serious injury.

"I didn't realize how bad it was until I watched it again," said James. "In hindsight, you're like, 'maybe I'll be more cautious or careful.' But I'm stubborn, so we'll have to see."

During the stop in Toronto, James and Dykstra, who have been engaged for almost a year, took questions from about 50 fans, signed autographs, asked wrestling-related trivia questions and gave away tickets to the May RAW in Toronto.
