WWE announces Mania stars

Could it be that WrestleMania just ain\'t the celebrity draw it used to be?

At a press conference held in New York today, the WWE revealed the stars who will be sharing the stage with the WWE talent at WrestleMania XIX on March 30.

Instead of recognizable Hollywood movie or television stars, WWE fans will be treated to rockers Limp Bizkit performing briefly and the Miller Lite Catfight Girls making a special appearance at the show. WrestleMania XIX will be Limp Bizkit\'s second appearance at a WrestleMania. They also performed at WrestleMania 17.

The Catfight Girls rose to prominence during their now infamous \"wrestling match\" scene from Miller Lite\'s \"Catfight\" commercial released earlier this year. More \"Catfight\" sequels will begin airing later this month. WWE will begin airing the spots on WWE SmackDown! and run them throughout WWE\'s network of programs leading up to WrestleMania.

\"WrestleMania is our time to deliver the best action, drama, and excitement to our millions of fans worldwide. At WrestleMania XIX, we will prove once again that there is no better entertainment product in the world today than WWE,\" said WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. McMahon is slated to be wrestling on the show against Hulk Hogan.

Stars who have appeared at WrestleMania in the past include Pamela Anderson, Liberace, Joan Rivers, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Bob Uecker, Vanna White, Alex Trebek, Reba McEntire, Pete Rose and Steve Allen.

WrestleMania XIX will be broadcast on pay-per-view at 8:00 p.m. EDT on March 30 live from Safeco Field in Seattle.
