Simulation predicts WrestleMania 26

The digital Triple H bloodied Sheamus.

With WrestleMania just hours away, predictions are running wild just like Hulk-A-Mania did in the '80s. Will The Undertaker’s streak continue or will Shawn Michaels be taking the same Walk of Shame he sentenced Ric Flair to a few years ago? Will Edge’s return come full circle? Will The Hitman finally get his pound of flesh from Vince McMahon?

As we do every year, to get the answers to those and other pressing WrestleMania questions we turn to our friends at THQ and their phenomenal Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 video game. Here are the interesting predictions it made (minus the Money in the Bank match) for tonight’s extravaganza from Arizona.

Rey Mysterio Vs CM Punk

Chops, kicks and insane offence dominated this rapid fire encounter. CM Punk’s martial arts background proved to be the difference maker with Punk sending Mysterio to Dreamland.

Winner: CM Punk.

HHH Vs Sheamus

The young punk comes on strong and even Randy Orton and Batista makes appearances at ringside but we are never sure why they are there, other than to observe. Could this be the resurrection of Evolution? HHH bloodies Sheamus with his Pedigree finishing move.

Winner: HHH.

The Heartbreak Kid is apparently headed for heartbreak.
Randy Orton Vs Ted Dibiase Vs Cody Rhodes

It is mostly every man for himself with a few double teams that quickly fall apart. Lots of brawling outside of the ring with Randy getting his noggin’ bashed off the ringside fence and the stairs. The match ends in a bizarre fashion with Cody taking a powder outside the ring so that Randy can brain Ted with the RKO.

Winner: Randy Orton.

The Big Show, The Miz Vs R-Truth, John Morrison

Although Truth, Morrison got in some clever double-teaming handiwork, The Big Show took the punishment and stood up for more with The Miz getting in some cheap shots here and there. The Miz scores a dastardly pin by putting his feet on the ropes for leverage.

Winners: The Big Show, The Miz

Chris Jericho Vs Edge

The longest and most brutal bouts with the two canucks beating each other from pillar to post. In the middle of the match, the referee gets laid out and remains counting sheep for over ten minutes. JBL makes his return but is stopped from interfering in the match by Rey Mysterio. A Spear and a suplex give Edge the victory.

Winner: Edge.

Batista Vs John Cena

Batista relies on bear hugs and other power moves. Cena works on Batista’s legs persistently. Randy Orton arrives at ringside but doesn’t interfere. He doesn’t need to. A spear, sidewalk slam and a Batista Bomb put Cena away.

Winner: Batista.

Bret Hart Vs Vince McMahon

Not the kind of match you would expect with McMahon just pounding on Hart right from the opening bell. Hart does pulls off some technical manoeuvres to slow McMahon down but it is the WWE VP who turns the tables on Hart with a decisive roll-up. Seems like this feud is just getting started.

Winner: Vince McMahon.

The Undertaker Vs Shawn Michaels

Michaels cannot seem to maintain any momentum. Taker is just far too powerful and far too strong. HHH tries to lend a helping hand but his efforts to help his comrade in arms are in vain. Chokeslam, Tombstone, Michaels is out.

Winner: The Undertaker.

May Michaels Rest in Peace.
