Countdown to TNA Slammiversary X
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Believe it or not, but TNA has been around for 10 years now and they will celebrate this fact Sunday from The College Park Center in Arlington, Texas with Slammiversary.

The card is shaping up to be a good one, no doubt, and TNA has been on a roll as of late with an improving product and very interesting storylines.

Let's take a look at Slammiversary!

TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Bobby Roode vs. Sting

The main event is a rematch of Victory Road that saw Roode defeat Sting in a match that made Sting decide to resign from his position as GM of the show. Now he's back and he's submitted Roode with his signature Scorpion Deathlock move the last two weeks on Impact.

Roode is the longest-reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion in history and will look to keep his run going here against a man who he usually has pretty good matches with. Sting is certainly the underdog here, but Roode's title reign is something special and he's becoming one of the best in the business right before our eyes. It would be a shame for that to end at Slammiversary. Expect Roode to pull a win out of somewhere and make the "Insane Icon" head back to the drawing board.

TNA World Tag Team Championship: Christopher Daniels & Kazarian vs. Kurt Angle & AJ Styles

We all know about Styles' problems with Daniels and Kazarian, now he's going to get the chance to take them out with the help of Angle and the tag team titles on the line. I don't see a way in which this match isn't anything but awesome. These four are four of the best wrestlers in TNA today and should put together something really exciting for the fans.

TNA Knockouts Championship: Gail Kim vs. Miss Tessmacher

These two had a good match (per today's women's standards) at Sacrifice and it'll be interesting to see if they can do it again here. Kim has been Knockouts Champion for a long time and, like Roode, there's no reason for that to come to an end here. She is the best thing about that division and it makes sense to continue to have a heel champion to oppose the face power authority (Brooke Hogan).

No. 1 Contender's Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson

These three do nothing for me at all. As each day goes by, RVD and Anderson feel more and more out of place within TNA, but here they are wrestling for the No. 1 contender's spot. The winner of this match will face the champion this week on Impact. I think this probably ends up with Hardy getting the nod.

Bully Ray vs. Joseph Park

This has been a fantastic angle and it appears we might be getting closer to a payoff. Bully Ray has reinvented himself and it's been for the better. Park has been great in his role and his brother Chris, you know, Abyss, has promised to be there for this match. This should be all about the angle here.

Austin Aries vs. Samoa Joe

Another match that should be great if given a good amount of time. It's impossible to imagine these two having a bad match together and Aries is one of the fastest rising stars in the company today. He gets the win here in a solid, competitive match.

Devon & Garett Bischoff vs. Robbie E & Robbie T

This is the way to use Bischoff. Keep him limited and hidden, so to speak, in tag team matches against people the crowd actually boos and team him with a person the fans love. No reason to think Devon and Bischoff lose this one.

Crimson's Open Challenge

The big question here is: Who's going to challenge Crimson? I have a feeling the win streak could come to an end here.
