Countdown to TNA Against All Odds
By JON WALDMAN -- SLAM! Wrestling

As sad as it may seem at first, I lost all conceptual thought that there was a TNA pay-per-view this weekend. Amidst the excitement of the sizable UK crowd taking in TNA's last two Impact episodes, you can forgive me, since those two cards were pretty damn stacked.

Tonight, we see a show that is at worst comparable to those two shows, led by a fatal fourway for the TNA/Impact World title - Bobby Roode vs. James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Bubba Ray. Now normally I'd say that Roode goes over here and we get the Roode vs. Storm title bout next month, but we just had those two battle on Impact two weeks ago. Instead, I'm calling Ray to get the title win here, if for no other reason than for TNA to try to appease him and convince him not to jump to WWE as is heavily rumoured.

Next up in order of importance, according to TNAwrestling.com, is Garrett Bischoff vs. Gunner. I'm sorry folks, but this angle just doesn't interest me. Hogan's superfluous claim that GBisch is the next big thing in wrestling is downright awful.

Getting back on track, AJ Styles vs. Kazarian should be a strong in-ring bout. I like how TNA is doing the slow burn on why Christopher Daniels is able to manipulate Kaz, and I think this has a lot of potential if the writers stay on track. I'll take Kaz as the reluctant winner here.

The rest of the card should shape up like this:

  • Magnus and Joe should take the tag belts in a cakewalk over Matt Morgan and Crimson.
  • Look for a screwy ending to Alex Shelley vs. Austin Aries bout to further the feud.
  • Tara vs. Gail should end with the latter retaining aver a decisive win.
  • Take Zema Ion to go over in the X-Division title#1 contender's match.

That's it for now folks, enjoy the show.
