Countdown to TNA Final Resolution

Final Resolution is here, and with it comes...wait for it... stipulation matches galore!
Yes kiddies, it's gimmick fest in Orlando to end the TNA year with a bang.
I'm not convinced, naturally, that this is the best move for TNA, but I've been
a skeptic too long. Thus, my resolution is to be more positive next year when
it comes to previewing TNA PPVs.
But until then...
There's too much complication here. What happened to good ol' fashioned one-on-one
bouts?
Sigh.
Let's get on to the card already.

TNA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH (Guest Referee:
Ken Anderson)
Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Morgan |

I don't think there's any question we're getting a screwy ending. I doubt Anderson
turns, but there will be something odd happening here. Methinks that Anderson
wants Hardy for himself, thus Morgan must be eliminated. Yes, we must have the
precious, Mr. Anderson...
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE FULL METAL MAYHEM
MATCH
Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns |
Um TNA, your competition's whole freakin' theme this month is tables, ladders
and chairs. The Guns and GenME are good and will inevitably have a great match
here, but they aren't going to draw people in. Sigh. MCMG goes over here.

X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH
Robbie E vs. Jay Lethal |

Cookie's in a cage, which is quite possibly the dumbest stip in the history
of wrestling. Why not just bar her from ringside? Oh yeah, that's right - because
she'll still find a way to interfere in the match tonight. Blecch. Robbie wins.

SUBMISSION MATCH
Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe |

The payoff for this had better be Ken Shamrock vs. Kurt Angle, otherwise I'm
going to be pissed. Joe wins.

TV TITLE MATCH
Douglas Williams vs. AJ Styles |

This has the potential to be an MOTY candidate (which TNA has had plenty of
this year), but the storyline's overpowering. Look for Ric Flair to get involved,
and likely bleed as a result. AJ keeps the strap.

FIRST BLOOD MATCH
Rhino vs. Rob Van Dam |

RVD's really fallen flat since vacating the TNA title. He needs to be in the
main event picture, not dealing with Rhino. Can we please end EV2 already?

CASKET MATCH
The Pope vs. Abyss |

Bad idea. The whole casket schtick is ridiculous. I really want this match
to be quick. I don't care who wins, just make this stupidity stop.

FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH
Mickie James vs. Tara |

The feud has been well booked and the match type makes sense. I'm guessing
this one ends in the men's bathroom (variation on the Benoit/Sullivan classic).
