Countdown to WWE No Way Out
By SLAM! Wrestling

No Way Out is the last pay-per-view before WrestleMania, and usually there's a certain amount of throwaway factor. With two Elimination Chamber bouts that have titles on the line, though, that factor has been reduced a bit. Additionally, two feuds that have been given plenty of TV time are set to culminate and the last match, for the ECW Championship, is intriguing.

Let's take a closer look at No Way Out.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH (ELIMINATION CHAMBER)

John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane vs. Mike Knox

WHAT YOU THINK
Who will win the World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out?
John Cena - 68%
Kofi Kingston - 2%
Rey Mysterio - 2%
Kane - 3%
Mike Knox - 5%
Chris Jericho - 20%

SLAM! Predictions

Jon Waldman

It's actually surprising that this match is so thin, given the amount of good wrestlers on Raw. Kofi I guess is in here to give him more exposure, as is Mike Knox, but neither is winning. Rey and Kane have both held titles in the past and really are there only because of the pops they get. That leaves Chris and John. Under normal circumstances, I'd pick Jericho and have him face Cena at 'Mania in a rematch, but Y2J is already looking like he's going to mix it up with Ric Flair or a stand-in, so there's no option but to pick Cena to retain.

Jason Clevett

The least suspensful Elimination Chamber match ever! Seriously, aside from Jericho is anyone in this really a believable threat to Cena? It's nice to see Kofi get a spot in a main event match, but really it was nice to see that for Kendrick at Unforgiven and not much happened after that. Cena retains

WWE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH (ELIMINATION CHAMBER)

Edge vs. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov vs. Undertaker vs. Big Show

SLAM! Predictions

Jon Waldman

Kozlov will have to lose his first match here and Hardy's already occupied with (former) brother Matt. From there, it looks like we're getting Show vs. Edge at 'Mania. So between Triple H and the Undertaker, either one could feasably win this bout, but I have to go with Hunter, who will then defend the title against Randy Orton in a semi-rematch from last year's three-way.

Jason Clevett

As opposed to the RAW brand version, this is a toss up. A loaded cage makes for what could be a very good match. There are a few different options they could go heading into WrestleMania, but I am going to go with Edge holding onto the belt.

GRUDGE MATCH (NO HOLDS BARRED)

Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon

SLAM! Predictions

Jon Waldman

Everyone seems to be calling for a McMahon turn here. I'm not seeing that though. Randy against the boss's family is slowly turning him face, so I expect that to continue, working towards a double-turn at 'Mania with Triple H, who's been a baby for too long. Orton wins with tons of blood spilled.

Jason Clevett

Orton is on a rocket ship and this isn't going to be a detour. Expect a lot of the usual crazy Shane bumps. Stephanie turns on Shane and Orton gets the win.

  GRUDGE MATCH (ALL OR NOTHING)

JBL vs. Shawn Michaels

SLAM! Predictions

Jon Waldman

I really like the possibilities here. I think JBL wins and goes on to face 'Taker at 'Mania. The ref for the match though, would be HBK, in the ultimate quest to end 'Taker's streak.

Jason Clevett

I just haven't been able to buy into this storyline. I'm still hoping for Undertaker vs. Michaels at WrestleMania, which means hopefully an end to this storyline. Michaels wins.

ECW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Jack Swagger vs. Fit Finlay

SLAM! Predictions

Jon Waldman

Swagger needs to win to set up Christian's victory at 'Mania, and Hornswoggle just needs to go away.

Jason Clevett

Swagger is still a new champion and there is some ground to this feud. With a lot of other challengers waiting in the wings, this should be an interesting time for Swagger as he continues on as ECW champion.
