Watch out WWE Films, here comes Rock On! Films, who have produced no less than three films with professional wrestlers, and with better press than the Stamford-based wrestling company.

This should be no surprise as Rock On!'s main director and visionary, Joe Eckhardt, is a former assistant to celebrated actor Nicolas Cage.

According to their website, their latest venture will star none other than the icon, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, alongside Diamond Dallas Page.

Entitled Black River, the film is listed as a thriller, and will have an embattled alcoholic, Clayton Elie (played by DDP) discovering dark and possibly supernatural secrets in the small town he has moved to.

Screenwriter Eric Anderson's write-up on imdb.com promises a dark film that will have murders galore and unique plot twists.

As for Hollywood Hogan, his character's name is listed as Marcus Demchak, though he does not appear in the film's first trailer.

From Black River's haunting trailer alone, DDP's portrayal of Clayton Elie would have HHH's The Chaperone character wetting his pants!

Black River is scheduled for a 2011 release.
