Baseball writers strike out
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling

I am what you would call a big baseball fan. So this week's voting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America, which resulted in not one single player being elected into the 2013 Hall of Fame, made me very mad. FULL STORY

The inaugural Tommy Dreamer Wrestling Awards
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling

As an adult, I really never look forward to the mail. Mail, as an adult, usually consists of bills or advertisements that I really don’t care about. I could create a real-life-sized home out of the countless catalogs my wife has somehow accrued over the years. It seems like two or three arrive daily. FULL STORY

House of Hardcore 2 a matter of when, not if
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling

As most of you who read this column know, I started my own wrestling promotion — House of Hardcore — in early October. The inaugural event was a great team effort and I couldn't have been happier. I received zero negative remarks on Twitter or Facebook, which was astounding to me. I know the event wasn't perfect, but I will correct my mistakes when the next show arrives (more on that shortly). Return to Raw was a dream come true
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling

This past Monday, I made my surprise WWE return on the company’s flagship show Monday Night Raw. What appeared, on the surface at least, to be a long-planned return for The Extreme Original Tommy Dreamer to his Philadelphia faithful was anything but, actually. FULL STORY

Five countries in four weeks is hardly fake
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling
I am still amazed in this day and age that I still get asked — or told — that what I do for a living isn’t real … that it’s fake. FULL STORY

Hurricane no match for human spirit
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling

I can’t tell you how many arenas I sat inside and heard a familiar entrance theme hit: "Stand back, there’s a Hurricane coming through!" That entrance would blast through the arena and bring fans to their feet. For me, that theme has always been synonymous with the large ovation I would hear every time it was played. FULL STORY

Celebrating 23 years of Tommy The Dreamer
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling
October 28 is a very important day to me; it is the 23rd anniversary of my very first match. It was a great day in the fall of 1989. My hair was a picture-perfect wrestler mullet length -- I would kill for that hair today. I had been attending wrestling training for three months. Well, actually, I was basically getting beat up for three straight months by many other wrestlers, all seeking out their dreams. FULL STORY

An experiece that lifted my spirits — and beliefs
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling
As you all know, I am still a very active professional wrestler. I tour the world every single weekend, having good matches and, most importantly, entertaining fans. I consider myself a jack of all trades in life. I haven’t really grown up yet and I’m still trying to find myself after a full-time career in pro wrestling.

Thank you, everyone, for bringing down the House
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling
If you have been reading this column recently, then you know that last weekend I held my debut wrestling show, House of Hardcore. I’m thrilled to report it was probably the most fulfilling weekend that I've had during my career in a long time, because the show went better than I expected. I have been wrestling since 1989 and I have never seen a show that held such an amazing appeal to the masses. I received no negative feedback. FULL STORY

There were no foam pillows, just painful bumps
By TOMMY DREAMER - For SLAM! Wrestling

This week, I opened the doors to my own professional wrestling school. While driving there, I experienced something I haven’t felt in a long time, nerves. It was more of a nervousness associated with anticipation. It was a good feeling — the kind you got when you wanted to go to bed on Christmas Eve and couldn’t wait to see what Santa Claus was going to bring you. FULL STORY
