WWE Diva Kaitlyn comes to pro wrestling with a background in fitness modeling.
Originally from Houston, Texas, and born October 7, 1986, Celeste Bonin, was a successful model and competed in physique competitions, including the Arnold Classic and Musclemania Superbody.
She signed a WWE developmental deal in mid-2010, and headed down to Florida Championship Wrestling. There, she was known as Celeste, and, briefly, Ricki Vaughn, before she was dubbed Kaitlyn.
In September 2010, Kaitlyn appeared on the third season of NXT. Her pro mentor was Vickie Guerrero, and the two clashed repeatedly, verbally and physically, making for entertaining TV.
Kaitlyn was named the winner of the third season of NXT, the first woman so named.
In early 2011, she made Smackdown TV, signing a contract with Teddy Long, and proceeded to enter the various storylines, including matches with Divas, putting her into the mix for the Divas title.
