Eve Torres

REAL NAME: Eve Torres
BORN: Denver, Colorado
HEIGHT: 5'8" WEIGHT: 131 pounds
A.K.A.: Eve

Eve Torres entered the WWE through the 2007 Diva Search, which she won in the summer of 2007, beating out seven other finalists.

"There were times that were really a lot of fun and times that were really nervewracking. Sometimes you were really put on the spot," she told About.com in regards to the Diva Search. "We had eight competitions. The first casting was with about 50 girls when they narrowed it down. That was probably the most nerve wracking experience because you really donít know where you stand. But then once they narrowed it down to eight, you kind of say: 'Obviously I have something that they like.' And you just keep going with what your comfortable with, what youíre confident with."

A few months later, she started training in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Originally from Denver, Colorado. Torres went to the University of Southern California on a full tuition scholarship, and graduated with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. At USC, she was a member of the "Fly Girls" dance squad. After school, she moved into dancing and modeling, including performing with the Los Angeles Clippers Spirit Dance Team during the 2006-07 season. She also has some training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Torres was brought up to the SmackDown roster in February 2008 as an interviewer, and soon thereafter, was in the diva mix on the show for the various costume gimmicks. Her in-ring debut on the main stage came in November 2008, and her first storyline started off 2009, as she challenged Michelle McCool.

After failing to win in the Divas battle royal at WrestleMania XXV, Torres moved into a feud with Layla, which included dance and arm wrestling competitions. Up next was an association with Cryme Tyme, as the team battled The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd, and Natalya).

On October 12, 2009, Eve went to to the Raw brand as a part of a trade.

Away from the ring, Torres has appeared on numerous TV shows, including Show Me The Money before her WWE stint, and on Deal or No Deal as a part of the WWE-themed episode with Maria and Dolph Ziggler in November 2009.
