Nick Mitchell
REAL NAME: Nick Mitchell Although Mitchell had to bow out of the contest, he was signed to a WWE developmental deal and assigned to Deep South Wrestling. Known as "Big Time" Nick Mitchell, he began wrestling for Deep South in September 2005, facing such names as Johnny Parisi, Kid Kash and, in tag action, the Regulators (later Gymini). His career was sidelined prematurely with a knee injury. Although it was feared that he had torn his ACL and might require surgery, Mitchell was back in action in early January 2006. He was transferred to Ohio Valley and was in the corner of fellow Spirit Squad members Nick Nemeth and Mike Mondo. His time in Ohio Valley was very short as within days of the Spirit Squad's debut in Ohio Valley, this team of male cheerleaders (which also includes Ken Doane and Johnny Jeter headed to WWE. After distracting Jerry "The King" Lawler during a Royal Rumble qualifier match against the Coach, the Spirit Squad have made appearances at the Royal Rumbles itself as well as several Raw broadcasts.
