Smackdown!: Reigns doesn't get Rollins; takes out Wyatt Family instead
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

After that brief feud with Randy Orton, Roman Reigns has finally turned his sights on former Shield partner, Seth Rollins. Reigns crashed the eulogy for Dean Ambrose on Monday night, but with Rollins under the protection of The Authority, he won't get a shot at him tonight as Smackdown! comes to us from Ontario...California.

Good news, everyone! The Tom Phillips experiment continues at the announce table. Roman Reigns makes his way down through the crowd to kick off the show.

Match #1 - Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns

Reigns knocks Bray into the ropes and goes to the floor for the leaping drop kick. Reigns ducks a clothesline from Harper and connects with Bray, but then succumbs to the numbers games. Rowan and Harper beat Reigns down, getting Bray disqualified.

Winner via DQ: Roman Reigns

Big Show and Mark Henry run down to make the save and Rowan eats a Superman punch. I smell a six man tag!

Match #2 - RVD vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins is looking to avenge a count out loss to RVD from Main Event. RVD connects with a thrust kick. Rollins answers with a drop kick. RVD catches Rollins on the top turnbuckle with a kick to the head, but can't pull off the superplex. Rollins picks up RVD and slams him into the opposite corner. RVD gets slammed into the turnbuckle a second time and Rollins is able to finish him off with the curb stomp.

Winner via pinfall: Seth Rollins

Match #3 - Emma vs. Paige

Paige makes TV for the first time in months and she taps out in under 3 minutes to the PTO.

Winner via submission: Paige

After the match, AJ Lee skips to the ring with a box of chocolates for Paige. AJ forces Paige to eat one, but Paige just spits it out instead.

Match #4 - Rusev w/Lana vs. Jack Swagger - Submission Match

It looked liked this feud was over at SummerSlam and that Mark Henry was picking up that ball, but now he's teaming with Big Show to taken on Wyatts and Swagger has been slotted back in. It makes a little sense, since Swagger only lost when he passed out at SummerSlam. Swagger is nursing injured ribs, but Rusev is also selling an ankle injury from Monday. Rusev tries to give Swagger a taste of his own medicine with the ankle lock, but Swagger reverses it. Rusev holds on and tries to get to the ropes. Rusev does, but Swagger drags him back to the middle of the ring. Rusev breaks free and answers with a kick to the ribs. Swagger gets locked into the Accolade and fights to get to the ropes. Rusev locks in the Accolade again, and this time he is far from the ropes. Swagger is able to get to his feet, when a towel is thrown into the ring. The ref is confused and distracted, allowing Bo Dallas yank Swagger's legs out from under him. Swagger is locked into the Accolade again and he taps.

Winner via submission: Jack Swagger

After the match, Dallas says he saved Swagger from further embarrassment and he needs to learn to BO-LIEVE. Dallas hits Swagger with the Bodog.

Corporate Kane isn't pleased with The Miz's Hollywood attitude. Miz won't make it to the set, tonight, instead he has a match with Sheamus.

Match #5 - Stardust w/ Goldust vs. Jey Uso w/ Jimmy Uso

Before the match, Goldust apologize for their actions from Monday. They just really want those tag team titles. Jimmy gets a quick pin after exploding out of the corner into a roll up.

Winner via pinfall: Jey Uso

So much for that apology, Stardust and Goldust jump the Usos after the bell, beating them to the floor. A lot people are question this turn, but WWE needs another good heel tag team.

Match #6 The Miz vs. Sheamus

Miz's stunt double, Damian Mizdow, is filling in for the Miz. That doesn't stop the Miz from going for a cheap shot though. Sheamus avoids it and then quickly dispatches Sandow with White Noise.

Winner via pinfall: Sheamus

After the match, Miz attacks Sheamus, but the promptly runs away. Dolph Ziggler jumps Miz on the ramp and tosses him into the ring. Miz is able to escape and heads into the crowd.

For those that missed it on Monday, Brock Lesnar's post SummerSlam interview is aired again.

Match #7 Mark Henry, Big Show and Roman Reigns vs. The Wyatt Family

All three men brawl in the ring before the match, the bell finally rings with Big Show and Rowan in the ring. Show hits a sunset flip, you read that right, a sunset flip. Show hits a low drop kick on Harper before tagging in Henry. Rowan provides a distraction, allowing Harper to connect with a dropkick and we go to break.

After the commercials, Henry delivers a massive suplex to Rowan. Show gets the tag and call for the choke slam. Bray leaps in, but is cut down with a big boot. That's all the time Rowan needs to escape and Harper tags in. Harper goes for the gator roll and then locks in a chin lock. Show shoots off the ropes into a drop kick and Bray tags in to deliver a DDT. Rowan tags in to splash Show, but can't get the pin. Harper tags back in and tries a sleeper hold. Show is able to break it, but still can't tag out. After a clothesline to Bray, Show is able to make the hot tag to Reigns, who cleans house. He drop Harper on the apron and follows with a flying clothesline. Harper is down in the corner and Reigns hits the leaping dropkick from the floor. Reigns follows up with a Superman punch. Rowan saves the match, by breaking the pin, but is taken out with a choke slam from Show. Wyatt takes out Show, only to get hit with the World's Strongest Slam. Harper catches Henry with a big boot and then delivers one to Reigns. Harper can't get the pin and tosses Roman off the ropes. Reigns uses the momentum to deliver a spear and then cover Harper to get the wibn

Winners via pinfall: Mark Henry, Big Show and Roman Reigns
