Streaming issues stall Network’s SummerSlam

Countless WWE Network subscribers had their viewing of SummerSlam persistently powerbombed last night due to streaming issues.

Throughout the approximately three hour pay-per-view, a multitude of fans reported experiencing feeds that frequently stalled or ceased altogether making for a disjointed viewing experience.

Viewers insisted the buffering had nothing to do with their Internet connection or any kind of technical problem on their end as services such as Hulu and Netflix streamed flawless for them last night.

Dissatisfied customers took to the official WWE Network Facebook page to express their dissatisfaction with the quality of the SummerSlam broadcast.

“So let me get this straight, you want all of us to pay you $9.99 a month for a service that constantly freezes and skips and lags. No matter how many times you say $9.99 it does not make up for the fact that after 6 months this stuff is still happening. I'm an avid supporter of the network but my god is this getting old. This will be my final month. No more money from me since WWE doesn't seem to care that there is serious issues with the service. How many people need to complain? How many people need to cancel,” wrote Tom Jenner on the WWE Network’s Facebook page.

“Fix your end of this WWE Network, it's not our fault, EVERYONE is having the same issues, it must be on your end, also VERY FRUSTRATING, as we have all PAID FOR THIS,” wrote Mike Dyonzak.

“Yep, it's blurry, freezes and stops periodically. It's tough to watch but the customer service line is even worse. I don't understand why they keep asking people to sign up with the performance being as bad as it is,” wrote Rod LeVair.

To their credit the administrators of the FaceBook page did try to assist people with their issues and offered tech advice in an attempt to solve the problems.

Throughout the SummerSlam broadcast, the WWE tirelessly hyped subscribing to the Network with Hulk Hogan even opening the show with a live Network promo plugging the $9.99 price tag. SummerSlam is one of the WWE's premiere pay-per-view broadcasts of the year.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? Did you have some problems with buffering? Or the Network in general during SummerSlam? Email us your thoughts and we'll collect them for a story.
