Main Event: Swagger back to his roots against Del Rio
By NOLAN HOWELL - SLAM Wrestling

Laredo, Texas sits right near the border of the United States and Mexico. This is sort of a homecoming for Alberto Del Rio, who has seen success in both countries throughout his wrestling career. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Real Americans Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter have a challenge for Del Rio. Plus, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee returns to action after a Paige assault! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are LIVE from Laredo, Texas. Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton have the call for this week.

Prior to his match, Alberto Del Rio wants to speak in Spanish as they are near Mexico. Del Rio speaks and makes the crowd cheer before thanking them for the support for all the years in English.

Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter make their way to the ring. Colter asks if Del Rio is kidding him and says he didn't understand a word he said. Colter says they speak English where he comes from and that he might as well be in Mexico or Russia. Colter tells Del Rio he is just pointing out the obvious and Del Rio tells the "perro" that he couldn't think of a better place to have a match than here on the border of the United States and Mexico. Colter accepts the match because Del Rio reminds him of another person running around with a foreign flag and he tells Swagger to regard Del Rio as he would Rusev. Colter closes with a "We the People" declaration.
