SmackDown: Reigns rebounds against Del Rio

After failing to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground, Roman Reigns did the next best thing and cost Randy Orton a shot at the belt on Monday night. Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Reigns attempts to get back on track against a game Alberto Del Rio. Plus, Bray Wyatt in action! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE SmackDown!

We are on tape from Orlando, Fla. Michael Cole and John "Bradshaw" Layfield have the call for this week.

Match One: The Usos vs. RybAxel

Ryback starts out with Jey Uso. Side headlock and shoulder block bomination lands for Ryback. Hip toss follows, but a splash misses and Jimmy Uso in. Double-team attack gets Jimmy the nearfall and he works Ryback with chops and uppercuts. Mounted punches in the corner land and Ryback comes out of the corner with a big boot.

Curtis Axel in and he gets arm dragged into an armbar from Jimmy. Axel counters into a side headlock of his own. Shoulder block lands and Jimmy leapfrogs and ducks to avoid Axel. Both exchanging counters and Ryback makes the sneak tag as Jimmy tries a rollup. Jimmy knocks Ryback to the floor and gets clotheslined out by Axel. Running shoulder bump puts Jimmy down and out on the floor by Ryback as we break.

Ryback working Jimmy in the corner with chops as we return. Jimmy striking out, only to get put into the corner of RybAxel. Corner work landing for both men. Axel stomping Jimmy down and Jimmy fighting back, only to receive a clothesline to the back of the head. Running knee from Axel gets a nearfall and brings Ryback in. Splash from Ryback gets a pin attempt of his own.

Rear chinlock applied by Ryback. Jimmy with body shots and a jump kick that puts Ryback down. Axel and Jey in. Clotheslines and an uppercut land, followed by a dropkick from Jey. Running butt splash in the corner connects and Samoan Drop nearly wins it. Ryback stops the pin, but is soon sent out. Jey with a dive over the top to take out Ryback. Axel dropkicks Jey off the apron. Jimmy lays next to Jey on the ground and Axel picks up the wrong one. Jimmy with a rollup inside.

Winners by pinfall: The Usos

WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz shown signing autographs as he makes his way to host Miz TV.

Miz TV is underway. Miz makes his way to the ring and introduces himself as the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Miz never got to make his acceptance speech and asks for quiet. Miz thanks The Authority, his branding team, and his parents. Miz joins his parents in the audience and Miz asks his mom what it is like to have Hollywood star for a son and how proud she is of him. Finally, he asks who her favorite WWE star is and she replies that it is Roman Reigns. The Miz shoots her a dirty look and says that's where he gets his humor from. Miz back to the ring and thanks his pets, his wife, Maryse, and his biggest influence, "the moneymaker."

Bo Dallas makes his way to the ring. Dallas says it is totally okay that Miz didn't mention him because he knows that Miz won the battle royal at Battleground because he "Bolieved." Miz says he is a huge fan of Dallas and that Dallas's people should call his people so they can do lunch.

Dolph Ziggler interrupts. Ziggler tells Miz that he must be joking and tells Miz to act like he's been here before. Ziggler knows he did all the work, but he can see why Miz and Dallas get along so well. They both inspire so many and have "billion dollar smiles." Finally, they are both "full of crap." The Miz calls Ziggler jealous and Dallas says Ziggler can be like them if he just "Bolieves." Ziggler shoves Dallas away and attacks Miz, only to be dropped with a microphone shot from behind.

Match Two: Bo Dallas vs. Dolph Ziggler

Bo Dallas stuffs a single-leg takedown and clubs Dolph Ziggler down. Knee drops and strikes landing for Dallas. Ziggler up and landing right hands, only to be dropped by an elbow from Dallas for a quick nearfall. Chinlock applied by Dallas. Body shots from Ziggler land, only for Dallas to yank Ziggler to the mat. Ziggler pulled into elbows and a clothesline that earns Dallas another nearfall.

Ziggler reverses a whip into the corner that knocks Dallas down. Dallas charges into a back elbow and Ziggler lands a DDT that nearly steals the match. Action spills outside and Ziggler fakes a strike that sends Miz out of his chair. Inside, Dallas cannot get the pin on a rollup and eats a Famouser that nearly puts him away. Miz jumps up on the apron and Ziggler takes a swing, only to whiff and have Dallas roll him up with a handful of tights.

Winner by pinfall: Bo Dallas

Post-match, Bo Dallas does his victory lap and Miz and Dallas exchange congratulations. Dolph Ziggler lays Dallas out with a superkick and Miz runs Ziggler into the steel post.

Renee Young with Roman Reigns. Reigns asked about costing Randy Orton a WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot at SummerSlam. Reigns says that of course Orton is the Plan A of The Authority because he is spoiled. However, Orton will not be any plan because once Reigns connects with a punch, all plans go out the window. It is one versus all. Young asks about Reign's main event match against Alberto Del Rio. Reigns says Del Rio isn't on his side so he is part of the all. If Del Rio doesn't have a plan, Reigns has the punch.

No Disqualification Match Three: Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro

The two exchanging punches to start. Dean Ambrose works Cesaro into the corner and rakes his face over the rope. Both men exchanging corner work and Ambrose stomping Cesaro down. Suplex lands and Ambrose with an elbow drop.

Ambrose outside to grab weapons and he gets the steel chair, only to be kicked back to the floor by Cesaro. Kendo stick for Cesaro misses across the ring post and Ambrose with a clothesline that sends Cesaro to the timekeeper's area. Ambrose dives on him and tosses Cesaro to the floor. Ambrose lands with the ring bell as he jumps off the barricade. Ambrose clearing the announce table, only to be cracked with the kendo stick as we break.

Cesaro crossfacing Ambrose with the kendo stick as we return. Ambrose slammed on the chair on his injured shoulder during the break. Ambrose chewing the fingers of Cesaro to get out, only to be hit with the kendo stick on the back. Cesaro lays two chairs face-to-face and slams Ambrose on them for a nearfall.

Cesaro sitting on the chair on top of Ambrose and choking him with the kendo stick while torquing the back. Kendo stick shots to the shoulder land for Cesaro. Ambrose catches the third swing and gets kicked to the ropes. Rebound clothesline connects for Ambrose and he goes to work on the body of Cesaro with the kendo stick. Russian legsweep with the kendo stick from Ambrose earns a nearfall.

Chair brought in for Ambrose and he sits them back-to-back. Cesaro blocking the suplex and Ambrose blocks a suplex of his own. Steel chair taken and used as a spike by Ambrose to the stomach. Suplex breaks the seated chair for an Ambrose nearfall. Up top, elbow drop with the chair by Ambrose nearly gets the pin again. Ambrose charges Cesaro in the corner, only to land on his shoulder on a chair wedged in between the turnbuckles. Rollup for Cesaro almost steals it.

Cesaro outside and whiffs on a chairshot after sending Ambrose into the ring post on his shoulder. Suicide dive outside connects for Ambrose. Stacks of chairs brought in by Ambrose. Seth Rollins comes out and brawls with Ambrose, only to be clotheslined into the timekeeper's area. Ambrose inside and up top, only to be crotched. Ambrose knocked to the ring apron and Cesaro deadlifts Ambrose into a suplerplex onto the pile of chairs below. Ambrose still manages to kick out. Cesaro looking to finish and Ambrose with a small package.

Winner by pinfall: Dean Ambrose

Seth Rollins runs in the ring post-match and clobbers Dean Ambrose down. Rollins stomping Ambrose down in the corner and Cesaro lands a running boot in the corner. Neutralizer connects and Rollins stalking Ambrose as Cesaro leaves the ring. Rollins asks Ambrose when he'll learn to stay down and lands the Curb Stomp.

The referees and medics assist Ambrose as the announce team introduces a video package that documents the rivalry between WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and Paige.

Prior to the match, Paige says that herself and AJ are still friends and that she likes Naomi.

Match Four: Naomi vs. Paige

Paige offers her hand for a handshake and Cameron comes out. Naomi with her back turned and Paige with a shot from behind. Ram-Paige connects and the PTO locked in.

Winner by submission: Paige

Cameron makes her way down to the ring and beats Naomi down. Naomi saves herself from being thrown out of the ring and strikes Cameron, but gets pushed down to the floor from the top as Cameron continues to taunt her.

Goldust looking into a fortune teller ball. Goldust can see many bizarre things and he can see the cosmic key being returned home soon. Stardust's head appears where the ball was and tells Goldust about the nebula and that he is looking in the wrong direction, as he should be looking towards the stardust as he blows glitter out of Goldust's hands.

Match Five: R-Truth vs. Bray Wyatt (w/The Wyatt Family)

Bray Wyatt opening up to start. R-Truth countering with strikes and defending a back bodydrop with a kick, only to be dropped by a shoulder bump. Wyatt clubbing Truth down. Truth comes back with a corkscrew and hits the splits, only to be stopped in his tracks by Wyatt spider walking. Running shoulder tackle lands and a splash in the corner connects for Wyatt. Sister Abigail puts Truth down.

Winner by pinfall: Bray Wyatt

Post-match, Bray Wyatt takes the microphone. Wyatt says R-Truth was there for Chris Jericho when he needed him, but where is he? Jericho is no savior, but Wyatt claims that he is.

Match Six: Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio

Lockup sees Roman Reigns work Alberto Del Rio into the corner. Del Rio caught with an uppercut after trying a cheap shot off the break. Reigns working Del Rio into the corner and Del Rio fights out. Left arm of Reigns struck and worked over the rope by Del Rio. Armbreaker connects and Del Rio shoved away on a Cross Armbreaker attempt. Del Rio outside as we break.

We return with Reigns working Del Rio from corner to corner. Del Rio counters a back bodydrop with a kick, only to be hit with a Samoan Drop. Reigns clotheslines Del Rio outside and follows. Reigns ran into the steel post and Del Rio working the arm across the post. Side kick rams the arm into the post and Del Rio moves inside to get a nearfall.

Armlock fought off by Reigns and he attempts to mount Del Rio for punches in the corner. Del Rio ducks away and sweeps the legs of Reigns, hanging him in the tree of woe. Up top, Del Rio with a double-foot stomp to the chest. Reigns moves outside and Del Rio follows. The left arm of Reigns smashed into the steel steps repeatedly and Del Rio with another nearfall back inside.

Armbar applied by Del Rio and Reigns striking out. Reigns has his whip reversed and Del Rio lands the step-up enzuigiri in the corner. Nearfall sees Del Rio reapply the armbar. Headbutts get Reigns out and Del Rio ran into the corner. Reigns sits Del Rio up top, only to have a Cross Armbreaker applied along the ropes. Del Rio lifted up and dropped with an uppercut that sends him tumbling to the floor. Del Rio driven into the ring apron and the barricade outside. The announce table used as a weapon by Reigns as well.

Back inside, Del Rio gets dropped by a clothesline. Back elbow out of the corner sees Del Rio mule kick Reigns away. Clothesline finally lands for Reigns and he moves outside to land the running dropkick. Del Rio moves away and Reigns lands on the apron. Suicide dive kick from Del Rio converts and he stomps away at Reigns outside to get a pin back inside.

Reigns again hung in the tree of woe and Del Rio landing kick after kick. Spear attempt from Del Rio misses and sends him into the post. Reigns outside with the jumping dropkick. Superman Punch converts and a Spear soon follows.

Winner by pinfall: Roman Reigns

The show closes with Roman Reigns celebrating his victory and standing triumphantly in the corner.
