Impact: Team Dixie grows to take out ECW vets

Bully Ray has recruited some old friends to battle the Carters. With his brother Devon and Tommy Dreamer at his side, the numbers have been evened out. Tonight on TNA Impact, a New York Street Fight is going down between Team 3D and Tommy Dreamer and Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud, and Rhino. What will TNA President Dixie Carter have in store? Plus, The Great Muta and the TNA Knockouts Championship on the line! All that and more on this week's edition of TNA Impact!

Recap of the rivalry between TNA President Dixie Carter and Bully Ray.

We are on tape from New York City, N.Y. Mike Tenay and Taz have the call for this week.

Bobby Roode makes his way out for his falls count anywhere match with MVP. Backstage, TNA Executive Director of Wrestling Operations Kurt Angle meets MVP. MVP tells Angle that he will be unable to compete because of his torn meniscus. Roode shown making his way backstage.

Falls Count Anywhere Match One: Bobby Roode vs. MVP

Bobby Roode and MVP trade punches and Roode immediately takes control. MVP knocked down in a hallway of the ballroom and the action spills out into the crowd. Roode clears out the audience and chucks MVP into the chairs. MVP coming back with a low blow and tossing a beer into the face of Roode before landing a shot with the edge of the chair to the midsection. Yakuza Kick misses and MVP crotched on the steel guardrail. Action spills to ringside and MVP lands another low blow. Roode sent into the steel post and MVP with a pair of nearfalls.

MVP clubbing the back of Roode and attempting a suplex on the ramp. Blocked suplex for Roode allows him to suplex MVP onto the ramp. Roode on top of MVP and Kenny King comes and cheap shots him from behind. Eric Young soon runs in to dispose of King. Roode with a clothesline off being whipped into the guardrail. Roode playing to the crowd and MVP sends him into the steel steps. The head of Roode bounced off the steel steps before he is sent back inside.

MVP with a steel chair and stalking Roode. Shot to the midsection lands and a shot to the back lays Roode out. Chair spiked into the stomach and now being used to choke Roode. MVP sets up the chair to Yakuza Kick into the head of Roode, but Roode gets away. Kick to the back of the leg from Roode sees him land shots to the injured knee. Sharpshooter applied by Roode.

Winner by submission: Bobby Roode

Recap of Team 3D putting Ethan Carter III through a table.

Dixie Carter in her office. Carter says she is here to show support for her nephew. Carter promises to not go through a table tonight and promises that she will be the one standing over Bully Ray tonight.

Jeff Hardy limps to the ring. Hardy says Willow heard that everyone wanted him back and he came back, but we haven't seen the last of Willow. Hardy will paint his face, wear masks, and Swanton himself into stairs in order to win and entertain. Hardy wants to talk about the future. The person he brought with him tonight will be a part of the future of TNA. Hardy introduces his brother.

Matt Hardy makes his way to the ring. Matt loves the NYC crowd and thanks his brother for inviting him here. Matt says this is a special moment that is meant to bring brothers back together. The two had a dream to be tag team champions and they did that and more. Matt had to go away to get health mentally, physically, and emotionally, even though it felt like he let Jeff and wrestling fans down. Matt wanted to apologize, but the time for apologizing is over and Matt wants the Hardys to be tag team champions once more. For them to be the best, they need to beat the best and they invite TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves to the ring.

The Wolves make their way out. Eddie Edwards says himself and Davey Richards have nothing but respect for what the Hardys have done for tag team wrestling. Edwards says the Hardys want to win the tag belts one more time, but The Wolves want to be the best of all-time and taking out the Hardys would make them that. Richards accepts the challenge at TNA Destination X to put the belts on the line and the four men shake hands.

TNA X Division Champion Austin Aries in the locker room. Aries asked if he has made his decision. Aries says the man who created Option C now has it in his hands, but tonight, he plans to change the equation and everyone will find out together.

The BroMans and DJ Z in the ring. Robbie E says the group is back in NYC and asks if anyone has seen anyone in NYC with a body like Jessie Godderz. Godderz announces that Robbie E is no longer afraid of clowns and congratulates him for traveling the world on a reality show before showing off the BroMans tank tops. DJ Z reminds everyone that he is the best in the X Division and the best in NYC and plans to prove it at Destination X.

Match Two: DJ Z (w/The BroMans) vs. Low Ki

Low Ki opens up with a combination, only to be kicked in the midsection by DJ Z. Z sends Low Ki into the corner, only for Low Ki to float over and land a mule kick. Running forearm connects in the corner and Z mounted. Robbie E on the apron and Z ducks out and sweeps Low Ki into the top turnbuckle. Running knee into a jackknife cover gets Z a nearfall.

Side headlock applied by Z and Low Ki chops his way out. Slide kick lands on Jessie Godderz outside and a shoulder ram turns into a sunset flip. Low Ki rolls through and lands a double-foot stomp to the upper body of Z and clotheslines follow. Combination of kicks land and a trio of elbows in the corner for Low Ki. Jawbreaker from DJ Z turns the offense around. Running kick from Low Ki lands and the Ki Krusher connects.

Winner by pinfall: Low Ki

Gunner and Samuel Shaw in the locker room. Gunner and Shaw talking about a woman they saw on the streets of New York and Shaw remarks that he is one of the most normal people in NYC. Mr. Anderson interrupts the two and tells Gunner that he and him have a match against Bram and Magnus tonight. Shaw isn't involved and Anderson tells him to not think about stepping in. Shaw tells Anderson that he will give him reason to trust him soon enough and Anderson replies negatively.

Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud, and Rhyno in the office of Dixie Carter. EC3 says he is the streets and Rockstar Spud says he is nothing like what is in the streets of NYC, which he finds disgusting. Rhino cuts the two off and says the cops usually breakup street fights like the one they will be in tonight. However, they cannot break them up tonight.

Dixie Carter walks in with King Mo. Dixie introduces him and they talk about Mo losing his last mixed martial arts fight to Rampage Jackson in Rampage's hometown. Tonight, Dixie warns the three to finish Team 3D and Tommy Dreamer because this is their hometown. King Mo says he will put Bully Ray in the ICU if he sees him tonight and Rhino tells Mo they will leave a little bit of Bully for him tonight.

Match Three Bram & Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson & Gunner

Gunner starts with Magnus. Side headlock and shoulder bump from Magnus countered by a back elbow from Gunner. Bram brought in with Magnus in control and a scoop slam lands. Gunner sent into the corner and has his head bounced off the turnbuckle. Gunner does it himself to build momentum and lands double-sledges. Running knee lands and Bram put down. Side headlock from Bram and both men down from a shoulder bump.

Magnus and Mr. Anderson in. Clotheslines and a back elbow from Anderson lead to a swinging neckbreaker. Magnus kicks out of the corner, only to be on the wrong end of a back bodydrop. Rolling senton lands and Anderson looking for Mic Check. Magnus elbows his way out.

Outside, Anderson chases Magnus. Bram from behind and he tosses Anderson headfirst into the steel post. Back inside, Magnus stalking. Spine Shaker connects for Magnus.

Winners by pinfall: Bram & Magnus

Post-match, Bram and Magnus beating out Mr. Anderson and Gunner. All four men brawling and Gunner dropped with a low blow. Bram getting the turnbuckle and Samuel Shaw runs in. Shaw takes the shots for Gunner and Gunner able to fight back, only to be attacked from behind by Bram after Magnus is sent out. Abyss comes out and landing clotheslines on Bram. Splash lands in the corner and a Chokeslam fought out of by Bram. Bram sent out by Abyss and Magnus holds him back.

Team 3D and Tommy Dreamer preparing. Bully Ray is losing sleep because he wants to put Dixie Carter through a table so badly to keep his promise to wrestling fans and put her out of the wrestling business. Tommy Dreamer tells the two there are no other two men he'd rather be teaming with and Devon closes by telling his brother to testify.

Video package recaps the history of "Option C" and TNA X Division Champion Austin Aries.

TNA Executive Director of Wrestling Operations Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring. Angle introduces himself and previews Destination X before inviting out Austin Aries.

Aries makes his way to the ring. Angle reminds Aries that he is the creator of Option C and that anyone who has cashed in on Option C has won their TNA World Heavyweight Championship shot. Angle tells Aries he has a winning lottery ticket and he can cash in if he hands over the TNA X Division Championship. Aries says it seems like a no-brainer.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP make their way to the ring. MVP asks if Aries has thought about his decision. MVP says Lashley is bigger, stronger, and faster than Aries and that he will be champion as long as he wants to be. MVP tells Aries he is a good wrestler and not a dumb guy. Aries wants MVP to get to the point. MVP tells Aries to stick to flying and keep his X Division belt because he won't capture lightning in a bottle twice.

Aries asks if MVP is done. Aries says he knows how to make things great and he knows what it takes to be a world heavyweight champion. Aries was held back by MVP. Aries created Option C to help the X Division and provide a chance for everyone to get notice. Aries says there are things he could do on two legs that MVP couldn't do with four. Aries has unfinished business with the world title and Lashley may be bigger, faster, and stronger than him. Aries claims he's tougher than any man he has ever faced and that he will be cashing in his title shot. Aries plans to create Option D to allow the TNA X Division Champion a title shot anywhere, anytime, when he beats Lashley. Lashley says Aries has made the biggest mistake of his life as Angle makes it official.

Recap of TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves accepting the challenge of The Hardys to put the belts on the line at Destination X.

Match Four for the TNA Knockouts Championship: Gail Kim (c) vs. Taryn Terrell

Lockup sees Taryn Terrell and Gail Kim trade positions until Gail Kim gets the side headlock takeover. Terrell stacks her for a nearfall and gets back up, only to be dropped by a shoulder bump. Gail Kim with a clothesline and a forearm. Dropkick attempt from Gail Kim misses as Terrell holds the ropes. Rolling cradle and a rollup get Terrell a pair of nearfalls. Monkey flip out of the corner followed by a clothesline from the top that gets Terrell another nearfall.

Gail Kim shoves Terrell away and runs into an elbow from Terrell. Terrell up top and Gail Kim meets her with an arm drag that puts her down for a nearfall. Terrell sent into the corner and Gail Kim with a running crossbody. Missile dropkick converts and Gail Kim nearly retains the title.

Eat Defeat attempt ducked out of by Terrell and both women put down by crossbodies. Forearms traded and Terrell wins the battle. Clotheslines connect for Terrell and a suplex lands. Running neckbreaker connects and Terrell up top. The Beautiful People make their way down. Velvet Sky shoves Taryn Terrell down from the top while Angelina Love hits a Botox Injection on Gail Kim.

No Contest

Post-match, In Yo' Face lands for Velvet Sky on Taryn Terrell and The Beautiful People celebrate up the ramp.

Dixie Carter on the phone. She tells the person on the other line to wait until she gives them a call. Dixie Carter and King Mo go to find their seats.

Jeremy Borash introduces The Great Muta. Robbie E interrupts and asks if this is a joke, "bro." Robbie E wants a grand entrance like The Great Muta gets. Robbie challenges Muta to a match now.

Match Five: The Great Muta vs. Robbie E

Robbie E opening up landing shots and working The Great Muta into the corner. Robbie E shoves the referee down and Muta with the signature green mist. Corkscrew elbow drop followed by a dragon screw and the Shining Wizard connects.

Winner by pinfall: The Great Muta

"Cowboy" James Storm makes his way out and asks if this is the legend that all the boys in the back talk about. Storm calls him a fraud, a joke, a has-been, and a wannabe legend. Storm only sees him as a man coming in to relive his glory years in the company he built. Storm says they don't spit mist in Tennessee and spits beer into the face of Muta. Storm takes out Yasu and Muta.

Sanada makes his way out and chases Storm off with a steel chair. Muta spits the red mist and pantomimes a throat slash, only to take a chair to the back by Sanada. Yasu pummeling Sanada and Sanada with the red mist to the face. Moonsault lands on Muta and Sanada walks out to bow to Storm.

Preview of TNA Destination X.

Jeremy Borash with Dixie Carter and King Mo. Carter says Mo has her back tonight. Carter says she gave Tommy Dreamer a chance to allow some has-beens a spotlight and he has been drinking the Kool-Aid and thinks he is someone again. However, Carter has plans for tonight and Mo walks Borash down to end the interview.

New York Street Fight Match Six: Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud, & Rhino vs. Team 3D & Tommy Dreamer

Rhino, Ethan Carter III, and Rockstar Spud take the advantage as Team 3D and Tommy Dreamer enter the ring. 3D and Dreamer fight back. EC3 sent out and Bully Ray catches Spud to send him outside on his partner. Dreamer cracks Rhino with a cooking sheet as we break.

(Commercials)

We return with Bully Ray stopping the back bodydrop with a kick. Combo and a bionic elbow land for Bully Ray and Bully now with a chain in hand. Trashcans brought in the ring. Spud punched outside and EC3 in the corner. Bully with the cheese grater across the chest of EC3 and a trashcan lid smashed into the groin of Carter by a kendo stick from Dreamer while Devon slams one to his head.

Rhino steps in and takes out Team 3D and Dreamer with a cooking sheet. Trashcan wedged in the corner and Rhino charges at Devon. Devon gets the boot up and sends Rhino into the trashcan. Spud on the back of Devon and mounts him for punches to no avail. Doomsday Device lands on Spud and takes him out.

EC3 hit with a double-flapjack and hung in the tree of woe. Trashcan laid in front of EC3 and Dreamer dropkicks it to the head of EC3. Whassup connects on EC3. Devon attacked outside by a man in a hoodie and Bully brings him to ringside where they brawl as security attempts to break them up.

Back inside, Dreamer lands a piledriver on Spud. EC3 whiffs on a shot from the kendo stick and Dreamer with a side Russian legsweep. Kendo stick across the back lands and Dreamer setting up with the steel chair. A man identified by Taz as Ezekial and Big Zeke clotheslines Dreamer down and EC3 with the One Percenter.

Winners by pinfall: Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud, & Rhino.

Taz identifies the other man as Gene Snitsky. Post-match, Team 3D and Tommy Dreamer are all taken out. The show closes with Dixie Carter and her team standing over Team 3D and Tommy Dreamer.
