NXT: Zayn finishes Kidd in grudge match

Week after week, Tyson Kidd stoops to a lower level to achieve victory. After taking advantage of his wife Natalya falling off the apron last week to win, Kidd has proven to be the definition of a ruthless competitor. Tonight on WWE NXT, Sami Zayn gets a grudge match in the main event with Kidd. Will Kidd have any tricks up his sleeve? Plus, Enzo Amore makes his in-ring return in tag team action! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE NXT!

We are on tape from Orlando, Fla. Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and William Regal have the call for this week.

Match One: Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady vs. The Vaudevillains

Enzo Amore starts out with Aiden English. Amore ducks a lockup and jaws at English. Lockup sees English work armlocks to put Amore on the mat. Amore turns into a wristlock of his own and English counters back. Amore with a drop toehold and landing punches. English strikes Amore back and Amore wiggles out of a suplex attempt.

Colin Cassady in and landing knees to the midsection. English worked in the corner by Big Cass. English slips away and brings in Simon Gotch. Cassady working Gotch with knees to the midsection and spells out the signature "SAWFT" before The Legionnaires interrupt. Gotch with a rollup from behind and a handful of trunks.

Winners by pinfall: The Vaudevillains

NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension say that anyone stepping up against them are fooling themselves because everyone is the hunted when they face The Ascension.

Match Two: CJ Parker vs. Xavier Woods

Lockup sees a stalemate until Xavier Woods muscles CJ Parker into the corner. Parker locks in a side headlock and Woods counters into a top wristlock. Woods takes the back and Parker elbows out, only to get leapfrogged and ducked under by Woods for a dropkick nearfall.

Woods clubbing and landing chops on Parker. Woods sent into the corner, only to duck clotheslines from Parker to land a hurricanrana. Running forearm in the corner followed by a chop from Woods. Parker counters and tosses Woods into the bottom rope. Clothesline lands for Parker and Parker landing strikes. Stomps and a straitjacket hold applied by Parker. Woods out and lands an uppercut and chops. Running forearms and a kick from the apron by Woods followed by a DDT that nearly wins Woods the match.

Woods up top, but misses on a crossbody attempt. Parker looking for a heel kick and Woods ducks under. Rollup attempt by Woods countered by Parker, who stacks him up and holds the pin attempt with the top rope.

Winner by pinfall: CJ Parker

Devin Taylor with Sami Zayn. Taylor asks what is on Zayn's mind prior to his main event with Tyson Kidd. Zayn says the layers are being peeled off with Kidd, proving that he is selfish and chauvinistic. Months ago, Zayn would have been overjoyed to wrestle Kidd. Tonight, Zayn wants to make it all about embarrassing Kidd.

Alexa Bliss with a video promo before her match. Bliss says Sasha Banks felt the sting from her bling last time they were in the ring. Tonight, Banks won't be with The BFFs and she can't underestimate Bliss for being small and nice.

Match Three: Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks

Alexa Bliss immediately takes the back and gets a rollup for a nearfall. Tilt-a-whirl small package on Sasha Banks gets another pin attempt and Banks drops Bliss with a dropkick. Banks slamming the head of Bliss into the mat. Bliss with a sunset flip for another nearfall and Banks again knocks Bliss down. Bliss laid on the ropes in the corner and a double-knee drop to the midsection from Banks leads to a snapmare for a nearfall.

Banks working the armbar on Bliss. Bliss fights out of the submissions of Banks and back elbows Banks in the corner. Bliss flips off the top to land a dropkick. Clothesline attempt from Bliss turned into a backbreaker for Banks and Banks locks in the crossface in the middle of the ring.

Winner by submission: Sasha Banks

Devin Taylor with Tyler Breeze. Taylor asks when Breeze will take his shot at the NXT Championship. Breeze says everyone rushes, but notes that the Versace Mansion wasn't built in a day. Breeze suffered a hand modeling accident, but he has his agents putting together contracts for a match with Adrian Neville and plays his video as we break.

Recap of Tyson Kidd using the distraction of his wife Natalya falling off the apron to defeat Sami Zayn last week. Footage from last week shows Natalya not wanting to talk about the win backstage.

Devin Taylor with Tyson Kidd. Taylor asks about Natalya and Kidd wants to know why Taylor is wasting his time. Kidd knows Taylor wouldn't ask Sami Zayn about his family and wants to focus more on him defeating Zayn last week in the tag match main event. Kidd knows his wife is a former WWE Divas Champion and can handle herself. Accidents happen, but Kidd knows tonight's win over Zayn won't be an accident.

Jason Jordan with a video promo before his match. Jordan says Tye Dillinger has been injured and was last seen partying with the Rosebuds.

Match Four: Adam Rose vs. Jason Jordan

Lockup attempt sees Adam Rose duck and prance around the ring. Lockup again sees Jason Jordan work Rose into the corner. Rose reverses and rubs his hand down the abs of Jordan to play some mind games. Rose jumps into the arms of Jordan and turns it into a side headlock and takeover combo. Rose worked in the corner and sent into the opposite corner, where he locks in the headscissors to land a stinkface. Jordan landing strikes and corner work. Shoulder ram into a Northern Lights Suplex leads to a bridging Jordan nearfall.

Dropkick from Jordan earns another pin attempt. Rear chinlock applied by Jordan. Rose fights out and landing punches. Inverted atomic drop followed by a spinning neckbreaker from Rose. Back elbow out of the corner gets Rose up top and a hurricanrana puts Jordan in the corner. Choo-Choo in the corner lands and Rose with the Party Foul.

Winner by pinfall: Adam Rose

Devin Taylor with Kalisto. Taylor asks how Kalisto feels about his shots at the NXT Tag Team Championships and against NXT Championship number one contender Tyler Breeze. Kalisto wants to talk about future victories.

The Vaudevillains cut in as the screen goes black and white. Kalisto asks what they are doing as the team pantomimes. Aiden English holds up a sign asking where his partner is and Kalisto says himself and El Local parted ways, but he plans to get a tag partner to defeat them next week. Kalisto asks if the two are speechless and the two are left stroking their chins.

Match Five: Tyson Kidd vs. Sami Zayn

Tyson Kidd corners himself and ducks in between the ropes to avoid Sami Zayn. Kidd moves outside immediately as Zayn begins to stalk him around the ring. Kidd reenters and gets the side headlock. Zayn sends him off the ropes and tries to land a punch, but Kidd again moves outside and up the ramp. Kidd reenters and gets dropped by shoulder bumps and a back bodydrop. Helluva Kick ducked out of by Kidd.

Zayn takes chase outside and runs into a kick from Kidd as he walks the apron. Kidd jumps down from the apron and grabs the front facelock on Zayn to land a suplex on the ramp as we break,

Kidd with a nearfall and a rear chinlock as we return. Zayn runs Kidd into the corner, only to be worked down and put in the tree of woe. Kidd stomping away and landing a running dropkick to the head. Knee dug into the head of Zayn and Kidd with a neckbreaker in the center of the ring for a nearfall. Rear chinlock reapplied by Kidd. Zayn working up and out with body shots. Punches landing for Zayn and a dropkick lands off a popup attempt from Kidd. Springboard moonsault lands outside for Zayn and a crossbody from the top back inside nearly steals it for Zayn.

Zayn locks wrists with Kidd and lands a chop. Zayn looking to run up the corner and he receives a drop toehold to the bottom turnbuckle from Kidd. Guillotine leg drop from Kidd nearly takes the match. Both men countering for position in the middle of the ring and Kidd with a release German Suplex that nearly puts Zayn down for the count. Kidd up top and mule kicks Zayn away. Elbow drop lands on the knees of Zayn and the Blue Thunder Bomb converts for a close Zayn nearfall.

Zayn runs into a dropkick from Kidd that allows him to skin the cat to the apron. Head kick from the apron lands for Kidd and the Blockbuster cannot put Zayn away this time. Sharpshooter attempt kicked away and Kidd with a jackknife cover. Zayn turns out and Kidd holds on to the legs before reapplying the Sharpshooter. Kidd leaning back and Zayn unable to get to the bottom rope. Zayn again inching and he gets the rope break. Kidd again up top, but he falls into an STO from Zayn and a Koji Clutch applied as Zayn floats over. Kidd unable to move.

Winner by submission: Sami Zayn

The show closes with Tyson Kidd sitting on the ramp and Sami Zayn hyped in the ring over his submission victory.
