Main Event: Hart delivers Highlight Reel moment with Jericho

Bret Hart ran into some trouble Monday night when Damien Sandow came out to impersonate him. However, Hart sent Sandow packing and stood tall in Montreal. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Hart gets a chance to have his moment as he joins Chris Jericho on the Highlight Reel. What will be in store for Hart? Plus, the WWE United States Championship will be given to the last man standing! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are LIVE from Ottawa, Ont. Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton have the call for this week.

Pre-match, WWE United States Champion Sheamus has the mic. Sheamus is happy to start the night with a fight. Sheamus won't need the luck of the Irish to beat Alberto Del Rio tonight. After he uses Del Rio's face for a pinata, Sheamus plans to move on to WWE Battleground to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship and unify the belts.

Alberto Del Rio on the screen. Del Rio plans to unify the belts after he drags Sheamus around the arena like a dog and begins to speak Spanish. Sheamus cuts him off and knows Del Rio was talking in fighting words. Sheamus tells Del Rio that last man standing means anything goes and tells Del Rio what he plans to do tonight. The two cut the talk as Del Rio makes his way to the ring.

Last Man Standing Match One for the WWE United States Championship: Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio


The two immediately start trading punches and spill outside. Alberto Del Rio bounced off the barricade by Sheamus. Del Rio being tossed around the barricades and Del Rio comes back by sending Sheamus into the steel post. Sheamus now sent into the barricade and brawling back by bouncing the head of Del Rio off the announce table. Del Rio reverses and does the same to Sheamus. The table cover ripped off and thrown to the head of Del Rio. Sheamus gets Del Rio with a rolling senton slam on the floor to begin a referee's count.

Del Rio wields a kendo stick and lands shots on Sheamus. Sheamus laid out on the announce table and tumbling around on the floor. Del Rio in control as we break.

We return with action from the commercial break showing Del Rio landing a shot to the head off the top rope with the kendo stick. Del Rio up top again and cracks the body of Sheamus with the kendo stick. The weapon dropkicked to the head of Sheamus and Del Rio landing jabbing blows to the body. Del Rio up top and he comes down on a sledgehammer smash from Sheamus. Sheamus landing punches and a pair of sledgehammer smashes. Shoulder ram in the corner lands and a knee lift converts. Del Rio kicks back in the corner to send Sheamus away, but runs into an Irish Curse that puts him down for a count from the referee.

Sheamus now with the kendo stick and teeing off on the body of Del Rio. Del Rio beats another count from the referee. Sheamus picks Del Rio up and Del Rio wiggles free for a DDT that has Sheamus down now. Roundhouse kicks to the body land for Del Rio. Del Rio dives at Sheamus and slips between the ropes, but saves himself on the apron. Beats of the Bodhran land for Sheamus and Del Rio shoved out to land on the announce table. Del Rio beats the count with a second to spare as we break.

We return to Sheamus hitting a backdrop suplex for a nearfall. Chair brought in by Sheamus and Del Rio sneaks a kendo stick shot to the body. Chair kicked back in the face of Sheamus. Del Rio wedging the chair between turnbuckles after another shot with the kendo stick. Sheamus fights back and gets dropped after a knee to the midsection. Del Rio brings in a chair of his own and Sheamus catches it off the swing of Del Rio. The chair tossed away and Del Rio scoop slammed down. Sheamus calling for the Brogue Kick. Sheamus misses and gets caught in the corner as Del Rio hits a Backstabber.

Sheamus beats the count and catches Del Rio with White Noise. Both men down for the referee's count. Both men able to beat the count and Sheamus moves outside to bring in a table. Table set inside and Del Rio hits an armbreaker that corners Sheamus for the step-up enzuigiri. Sheamus beats a count from the referee and Del Rio kicks the leg out. Cross Armbreaker turned out of by Sheamus, but he runs into the cornered chair.

Cross Armbreaker applied by Del Rio. Sheamus stacks him and lifts him. Del Rio slammed through the table and both men down. Sheamus beats the count and Del Rio barely gets up. Brogue Kick connects for Sheamus. Del Rio attempts to pick himself up on the bottom rope to no avail.

Raw Rebound shows the return of Chris Jericho to confront The Miz being spoiled by The Wyatt Family from two weeks ago.

Renee Young with Chris Jericho. Young asks about Jericho matching up with Bray Wyatt at Battleground. Jericho recaps his return and thanks Wyatt for reminding him that the WWE is about survival. Jericho plans to return the lesson at Battleground by stomping out the dark spider that is Wyatt and teach him what Y2J is capable of in the ring. However, tonight, Jericho plans for his Highlight Reel with Bret Hart to ensure the Main Event is never, ever the same again.

Raw Rebound recaps the chaos in the main event between WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena and "Mr. Money in the Bank" Seth Rollins.

Handicap Match Two: Nikki Bella vs. The Funkadactyls, Eva Marie, Natalya, Summer Rae, & Rosa Mendes

Cameron doesn't join her partner in the match, leaving five out of the six competing.

Nikki Bella starts with Rosa Mendes and hits an arm drag. Mendes comes back with forearms and a corner splash before bringing in Summer Rae. Double-team suplex gets Summer Rae a nearfall. Eva Marie in and a clothesline gets her a nearfall.

Summer Rae returns and sends Bella into the corner to choke her out. Bella ripped out of the corner, but fighting back with a slap. Clothesline and a legsweep from Bella land. Mendes prevents Bella from getting Summer Rae up and gets sent out by Bella. Sneak tag from Eva Marie as Bella rolls up Summer Rae. DDT from Eva Marie on Bella as she has Summer Rae rolled up.

Winners by pinfall: Eva Marie, Naomi, Natalya, Summer Rae, & Rosa Mendes

Post-match, Cameron runs in and shoves down both Nikki Bella and Naomi. Naomi chases her backstage as Natalya checks on Bella.

Chris Jericho makes his way out for the Highlight Reel. Jericho plays to the crowd and introduces Bret Hart. Jericho welcomes Hart to the Highlight Reel. Hart is happy to be back in the capital and be on Main Event for the first time. Hart tells stories of watching Jericho progress through wrestling.

Jericho has questions for Hart and asks about the best rivalries Hart had. Hart talks about his rivalries with Mr. Perfect, Owen Hart, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and his biggest rivalry, Shawn Michaels.

Damien Sandow comes out dressed as Shawn Michaels. Jericho says HBK has let himself go and he has gotten ugly. Sandow came out to congratulate Jericho for being on the WWE Network and remarks how Jericho called Hart his idol. Sandow says he was what got Jericho into wrestling and how he was Bret Hart's son's favorite wrestler. Sandow promises to send Hart back to Ted Turner and Hart drops him. Sharpshooter locked in on Sandow and Jericho demands the bell to be rung.

The show closes with Chris Jericho and Bret Hart celebrating in the middle of the ring.
