Main Event: Reigns makes a point before Money in the Bank

History will be made come Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank. Eight competitors will face each other in a historic WWE World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match for the first time ever. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Roman Reigns joins Renee Young to discuss the obstacles he faces en route to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Plus, a six-man tag between the Money in the Bank briefcase ladder match competitors! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are LIVE from Pittsburgh, Pa. Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton have the call for this week.

Dolph Ziggler kicks us off atop a ladder in the middle of the ring. Ziggler says winning the Money in the Bank ladder match is a symbol that you've made it and it changes your life. Ziggler says winning the match two years ago was the greatest moment in his career and lead to him winning a championship the night after WrestleMania 29. Ziggler tells the fans that because of them, that was the best night of his life. Somehow, Ziggler plans to climb the ladder and get the Money in the Bank briefcase this Sunday. Ziggler wants to take what is his.

Match One: Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam, & Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter), Bad News Barret, & Seth Rollins

Jack Swagger starts out with Kofi Kingston. Both exchange postiion before Swagger lands strikes to corner Kingston. Splash in the corner misses for Swagger and Kingston with a monkey flip and a kick before bringing Dolph Ziggler for a pair of nearfalls of an elbow drop and a dropkick. WWE Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett in and a suplex gets a nearfall.

Armbar and neck crank combo applied by Barrett. Rob Van Dam brought in and Rolling Thunder connects for a nearfall off a combination of kicks and clotheslines. Kicks from RVD on Swagger and Seth Rollins allows him to move up top. Swagger distracts RVD and Barrett drops RVD on the top rope and to the outside as we break.

We return with Seth Rollins taking body shots from Rob Van Dam. Rollins comes back with three suplexes for a nearfall before applying a front facelock. Swagger returns and lands a bodylock takedown. Swagger Bomb gets a nearfall on RVD and Swagger working a submission. RVD attempts to fight out and get the tag.

Bad News Barrett back inside with a neckbreaker nearfall. Barrett stomping RVD down and choking him on the second rope before landing knees and a big boot for a nearfall. Swagger comes back with a front facelock. RVD stops before having his head bounced off the turnbuckle and lands a springboard side kick.

Kofi Kingston in with a springboard forearm and a series of clotheslines on Rollins. Boom Drop lands and Trouble in Paradise avoided by Rollins. Both men tied up in the corner and Kingston elbows out. Springboard crossbody misses and Kingston lands on his feet to catch a charging Rollins in the SOS. Nearfall broken by Swagger and Barrett and Ziggler and RVD take both men out. Hurricanrana from Kingston turned into a pair of nearfalls. Kingston slow to get up and Rollins with the Curb Stomp.

Winners by pinfall: Jack Swagger, Bad News Barrett, & Seth Rollins

Post-match, Jack Swagger locks in the Patriot Lock on Dolph Ziggler after sending Kofi Kingston out. Rob Van Dam hit with the ladder by Bad News Barrett and Barrett lays out Ziggler and Swagger with the ladder. Bad News Bull Hammer on Swagger leaves Barrett left standing.

Recap of the rivalry between Layla and Summer Rae over Fandango.

Fandango meets with Layla backstage. Layla asks if Summer Rae is around. Fandango presents her with a rose and tells Layla that she is the only dance partner that danced away with his heart before sharing a kiss.

Match Two: Fandango (w/Layla) vs. Bo Dallas

Summer Rae runs into the ring and kisses Fandango. Layla jumps in and attacks Summer Rae. Fandango tries to break the two up as Layla and Summer Rae continue to fight outside. Fandango looks on from ringside as the two brawl up the ramp and are separated by referees. Fandango steps inside and gets hit with a Bo-Dog.

Winner by pinfall: Bo Dallas

Post-match, Bo Dallas laments that women are mysterious creatures and he knows they'll figure it out if they "Bolieve."

Match Three: R-Truth & Xavier Woods vs. RybAxel

Ryback starts with R-Truth. Ryback muscles Truth into the corner and whiffs on a clothesline. Truth with a side headlock on the reset. Xavier Woods with a sneak tag to land an axhandle smash. Woods connecting on strikes and corners Ryback. Ryback floats Woods over to the apron and catches a battering ram for a tilt-a-whirl slam for a nearfall.

Curtis Axel in after Woods is stomped down. Axel landing strikes and a snapmare leads to a rolling neck snap. Knee to the head gets Axel a nearfall and a knee drop follows. Axel stretching Woods and works in the rear chinlock. Ryback returns and works Woods in the corner with chops. Woods whipped into the corner and Ryback with a nearfall.

Rear chinlock applied by Ryback. Woods struggles and fights up, only to be swept back to the mat. Woods kicks Ryback away. Axel in and prevents the tag temporarily. Woods wiggles out of a slam and gets Truth on the hot tag. Strikes drop Axel and a suplex turned into a jawbreaker for a nearfall. Corner splash into a DDT gets Truth a nearfall.

Woods attacks Ryback for breaking the pin. Ryback sends him out and Truth with a spinning heel kick. Corner work on Ryback landing and Axel from behind with the Axehole.

Winners by pinfall: RybAxel

Post-match, Ryback says Goldust and Stardust pulled off the biggest fluke by beating them last week. Ryback challenges the two to a match at Money in the Bank and Axel says they'll be dust in the wind after Sunday night.

Roman Reigns joins Renee Young in the ring. Young talks about history in the making at Money in the Bank. Reigns says he is a wanted man and asks Young to remove her heels because a trap could happen at anytime with the bullseye on his chest.

Reigns moves on to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match. Reigns doesn't care who is in the match. Reigns ran the yard when he was with The Shield and nothing changes for him as he will take his place at the head of the table once he wins the ladder match.

Young notes Reigns didn't mention Randy Orton. Reigns takes shots at Orton and Young also notes Kane being entered into the match Monday night. Reigns declares that he isn't scared of Kane and he has assessed Kane. Reigns declares that he will assess and attack.

WWE COO Triple H on the screen. Triple H wants to introduce Reigns to someone who believes in nothing and says Reigns will face Kane on SmackDown. Triple H wants them to get to know each other now. Kane makes his way to the ring and Reigns and Kane brawling back and forth. Kane doesn't get the Chokeslam and Reigns clotheslines him outside.

The show closes with Kane and Reigns staring each other down as Kane makes his way back up the ramp.
