Thereís a very good chance tonight will end the Bolieve Movement in NXT. Thanks to NXT GM JBL (sorry for the onslaught of initials there) Mr. Dallas must win his next match in NXT, or he will be forced to leave. Will this be the last time Bo Dallas competes at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida? We find out tonight on the WWE Network.
Match 1: Win or Go Home Match- Bo Dallas vs. Big E
As Bo makes his way to the ring, our trio of announcers compares him to Tim Tebow. Since I have actually already compared Tebow to John Cena on this site a few years ago, I will have to respectfully disagree with these people.
Before the match, Bo grabs the mic to address his Bolievers. Something about him demanding to be referred to as Mr. NXT and thinks the audience is family, not fans. Okay. I think we all know how much longer Bolieving will take place in NXT as he takes on the man he beat to become the NXT Champion.
The crowd is clearly in Big Eís corner and we get the ďFiveĒ chants throughout the match. Bo suckers Langston out of the ring, gets a few cheap shots in and takes control. We return from a break and Bo is in complete control. During this little beatdown of Big E, the crowd starts the whole world chant.
Finally Langston gets a belly-to-belly suplex on Dallas and down go the straps. Bo counters the Big Ending into an inverted DDT but can only get a two count. Dallas goes for a tornado DDT but Big E counters into another belly-to-belly suplex. Big E goes for a splash but Dallas lifts the legs to counter and hits a double underhook DDT but canít get the three count.
Dallas is in disbelief. He tosses his wrist tape forcing the ref to pick it up. As the ref does that, Dallas removes the padding from the far away turnbuckle, which is just how Dallas beat Big E for the NXT title one day shy of a year ago today. History does not repeat itself as Dallas falls victim to the exposed turnbuckle. One Big Ending later and thatís it for Bo Dallas in the NXT.
Winner by pinfall...Big E
Dallas isnít happy. Yelling that NXT is his home, he doesnít want the Bolievers to leave him and generally sounding like Darth Vader when he found out Padmť died. If you donít get the reference, Iím glad you didnít have to suffer through that terrible moment in cinema history. The crowd chants the obligatory ďHey Hey Hey GoodbyeĒ song.
We return from the break and are shown Boís continued meltdown. He flips out and kicks the steel ring steps, hurting his foot in the process. The crowd starts chanting ďBo, leave!Ē while pointing to the exit. Bo gets to the top of the entrance ramp and grabs a microphone. He says he strongly dislikes the crowd and he thinks they all stink (his exact words) and chastises them for not Bolieving and demands that the crowd leave right now. Of course they donít so Bo decides he needs to go.
We go backstage for a few quick interviews. First one is with Tyson Kidd. He simply says that at Takeover heís going to be the next NXT Champion. We then go to Sami Zayn. Heís not happy with losing his chance at being the number one contender, but he seems to be taking it in stride.
Tyler Breeze decides to walk in on the interview. Sami isnít too happy and challenges Tyler to a match tonight. Tyler wonít fight Sami tonight. Apparently he needs to get a new phone case along with attending a ball. This match will take place at Takeover.
Match 2: Non-Title Singles- Tamina vs. Divas Champion Paige
Paige starts off this match on fire including a nasty looking kick to the abdomen area of Tamina. That seems to psyche up Tamina who turns her aggression up to 11. Tamina hits a couple of consecutive body slams on Paige and then goes for a bearhug on the Divas champ. Paige is able to fight out of it but Tamina clotheslines Paige after the escape.
Tamina stays in control and puts Paige in the torture rack. Paige fights out of the hold and now the two ladies start exchanging blows as well as banshee screams. Tamina gets Paige on top of the ropes and pushes her off. Paige hits the side edge of the ring and falls out on the floor. The ref goes out to check on the Divas Champ and then begins the ten count.
Tamina doesnít want to win via countout so she gets Paige back in the ring. Just like her daddy, Tamina goes up to the top turnbuckle. Unlike her daddy, Tamina doesnít hit her move as Paige is able to counter and roll up Tamina for a sneaky pin for the duke.
Winner by pinfall...Divas Champion Paige
Weíre reminded that tonight NXT Champion Adrian Neville takes on Curt Hawkins later tonight. But before that match, the Exotic Express returns!
Match 3: Singles- Camacho vs. Adam Rose
We finally gets to see Adam Roseís mean streak. During the match he rips Camachoís wife-beater off. Rose goes for the Party Foul after some quick offense but Camacho escapes the ring. It looks like Camacho underestimated Adam Rose because he doesnít want to get back in the ring. The ref counts to ten and thatís all she wrote on this one.
Winner by countout...Adam Rose
The Rosebuds come out to celebrate. It looks like Waldo is now sporting a fez. Our next match determines who will face Charlotte for the NXT Womenís title.
Match 4: NXT Womenís Semi-Final #2- Natalya vs. Sasha Banks
Charlotte does accompany Sasha to the ring. While the BFFís make their entrance we get a video that Charlotte made earlier. Sheís conflicted because she does want Sasha to beat Nattie, but then that means that Charlotte would be forced to expose the weaknesses of The Boss.
It seems like Nattie has an answer for everything Banks has at the beginning of the match as she counters a string of attacks in a row. Nattie goes for a few pins, but canít put Sasha away. Banks finally gets angry and goes to work, using several modified choke holds to slow Nattie down.
Nattie nails a beautiful butterfly suplex on Sasha (A-Ry says most men canít pull of a move that well and Iím inclined to agree). Sasha recovers and goes for a running bulldog. Iím not sure who got the worst of that exchange because Nattie is down in the ring, but Sasha has to crawl out of the ring and is holding her right hamstring in pain as the ref starts his ten count.
Charlotte doesnít want Sasha to lose via countout. She yells at Banks to get back in the ring and actually pushes her back inside. Banks isnít happy with Charlotte and while the BFFís are arguing, Nattie gets up, slaps on the Sharpshooter and will advance to face Charlotte next week.
Winner by submission...Natalya Neidhart
Charlotte doesnít look happy that sheís going to have to get through a former Divas Champion in order to be the new NXT Womenís Champion. The crowd is chanting that Nattieís going to kill Charlotte. Nattie stares down her next opponent.
Main Event: Singles- Curt Hawkins vs. NXT Champion Adrian Neville
I havenít seen Hawkins since he was an Edge Head. Not a fan of his new Queens, NY themed attire, but itís still good to see him back in action. Neville spends the entire match in total control, nailing the Red Arrow for the squash win.
Winner by pinfall...Adrian Neville
While Neville celebrates, Tysonís music hits and Kidd comes to the ring with a mic in hand. He says heís not here to cause trouble but next week heís going to dethrone Neville. Tyson lists some of his accomplishments and says that heís going to use the NXT title as a launching pad. Neville says thatís not going to happen. He says that Nattie will be taking home the gold, but just like in real life, Tysonís going home empty handed. The two men donít come to blows as we're reminded NXT Takeover is next Thursday.
