Impact: Young gets to give MVP a shot

TNA Director of Wrestling Operations MVP shocked the world last week when he declared himself the new contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary. Tonight on TNA Impact, champion Eric Young has a bone to pick with MVP and wants to give him a shot tonight, staying true to his word to be a fighting champion. Plus, the TNA X Division Championship is on the line! All that and more on this week's edition of TNA Impact!

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young is shown waiting for the limo of TNA Director of Wrestling Operations MVP. Young says all he wants to do is talk to his boss as the limo rolls up. Young opens the door and starts to go after MVP as a security team swarms him. Young says they don't have to wait until Slammiversary. MVP says Young needs to watch himself because he could get hurt acting that way.

We are on tape from Orlando, Fla. Mike Tenay and Taz have the call for this week.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young makes his way to the ring. Young said last week was a nightmare to him. Someone that himself and everyone in the back trusted turned his back on him. Young thought TNA Director of Wrestling Operations MVP was going to make this place better because anything was better than TNA President Dixie Carter. Young says all MVP had to do to get him in the ring was ask because he is crazy. Young tells MVP it won't wait until Slammiversary and invites him out.

MVP on the screen. MVP tells Young he is out there acting like The Hulk, but he'd need the Avengers to back him up. MVP doesn't care about all the talk and remarks that Young should reconsider the ungrateful tag, considering MVP gave him a shot at the title in the gauntlet match. While he didn't think Young had a chance, Young winning the belt sped up his plan. MVP says Young is a patsy in his plan. MVP wants all the power and plans to let Young hold the belt a few more weeks before taking it at Slammiversary.

Young reminds MVP that he planned to be a fighting champion and says that he will fight him tonight. MVP brought security along to deal with that, but even if he manages to get through them, he doesn't like the chances of Young. Young leaves the ring to go after MVP.

Footage shows Rockstar Spud and TNA President Dixie Carter driving through Nashville, Tenn. Carter has Spud pull up to her house, only to find a table with "Dixie Fears Bully" written in spray paint propped up against a tree.

Video package recaps the saga of Magnus and Bram and their feud with Willow.

Willow backstage. He asks how dare Magnus and Bram attack him when he was helpless against the two. Tonight, he invites the two to challenge him in his own dimension.

Willow awaits Bram and Magnus on the staircase. Magnus in front of Willow and Bram behind him. Willow taking it to Magnus as the move to ringside. Bram from behind with a clubbing blow to the back of the head.

Handciap Match One: Bram & Magnus vs. Willow

Willow opens up with clotheslines on Magnus to regain control. Magnus catches a crossbody for a driver and Bram brought in. Right hands landing for Bram and Willow sent into the corner hard. Bram stepping on the throat of Willow. Magnus returns and works Willow into the corner. Gutwrench suplex gets a Magnus nearfall.

Magnus landing some shots and Willow counters with a jawbreaker. Bram brought in and he runs into a back elbow in the corner. Whisper in the Wind lands for Willow. Willow landing shots and a running forearm. Inverted atomic drop into a leg drop to the groin from Willow. Dropkick and step-over heel kick land for Willow. Handspring punch and a corner dropkick from Willow.

Willow sent off the ropes by Bram and Magnus sweeps the leg to allow Bram to land a suplex-neckbreaker combination. Magnus tagged in and Bram attempts to hand him a crowbar. Magnus kicks it away, not wanting to be disqualified. Magnus goes for the scoop slam, but Willow with a small package.

Winner by pinfall: Willow

Post-match, Bram berating Magnus for not taking the crowbar. Magnus leaves the ring with Bram trailing behind.

Eric Young met by security as he heads to MVP's office. Young shoves through them and wrecks the decor of the office.

Dixie Carter and Rockstar Spud walking up the sidewalk to the house. Bully Ray calls Carter and asks if she likes the table-themed art project. Bully is calling from inside the house and Carter orders Spud and the camera crew inside to record the damage he has done to her house.

Gail Kim makes her way out to the ring. Gail Kim isn't out here for a makeover and she declares herself the person who helped found the Knockouts Division. Gail Kim calls out The Beautiful People to fight.

TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love and Velvet Sky make their way out. Love says jealousy looks ugly on Gail Kim. Love acknowledges that Gail Kim is a great wrestler, but she isn't the champion and she should never be the champion. The Beautiful People accept her challenge as Sky hits a facebuster from behind.

Match Two: Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky (w/Angelina Love)

Velvet Sky stomping Gail Kim down and bouncing her head off the canvas. Corner clothesline from Sky repeated in the opposite corner. Snapmare into a kick to the back for Sky. Running dropkick gets Sky a nearfall.

Gail Kim slung to the mat by Sky. Back elbow out of the corner catches Sky and Gail Kim floating over in the corner and landing kicks. Dropkick puts Sky down. Running crossbody in the corner lands and Gail Kim on the apron, where Angelina Love sweeps the leg. Love taking liberties outside.

Gail Kim put back inside and she receives a brown bag makeover with Sky's face in front. Kick to the back leads to Sky applying a sleeper. Gail Kim out with a jawbreaker and both women down. Sky with a DDT that nearly takes the match. Sky taunting Gail Kim as she pulls her up and Gail Kim snags Eat Defeat.

Winner by pinfall: Gail Kim

Post-match, Angelina Love uses the TNA Knockouts Championship to clock Gail Kim from behind.

Recap of the match between Ethan Carter III and Kurt Angle last week.

Ethan Carter III interview from last Thursday. Carter says he believes in EC3 and he took out Angle's ACL. Carter believes Angle passed the torch to him and he is the future because he destroys the past.

Match Three: Kazarian vs. Crazzy Steve (w/The Menagerie)

Crazzy Steve tries to hand off his balloons and horn to Kazarian. Kazarian smacks him and throws him outside. Kazarian tries to attack, but is encountered by Knux and The Freak. The Freak backs Kazarian into tripping off Crazzy Steve. The match moves back inside. Crazzy Steve on the apron and shoved by Kaz, but The Freak pushing him back up with one arm. Crazzy Steve flips inside and Kaz charges, only to have the top rope pulled out on him.

Crazzy Steve with a splash up top on his balloons and running around the ring with the horn. Rebel and The Freak enter the ring as Crazzy Steve pulls down the pants of the referee.

Winner by disqualification: Kazarian

Post-match, The Menagerie celebrates and dances around the ring.

Austin Aries confronts MVP at the men's room. Security surrounds him and Aries takes a shot to the stomach as he is held by security. Eric Young takes advantage of the security team taking Aries off the property and drops MVP with punches as we break.

Eric Young and MVP brawling backstage. Young sent into the wall and MVP stomping the arm of Young down. Arm of Young now in between a chair and MVP stomps down on it. MVP choking Young with his necktie as they brawl to ringside. The action finally spills into the ring with Young cornered by MVP. Young fights back and knocks MVP down with a mule kick in the corner. Takedown and Young getting the upper hand. MVP now on top and security is forced to separate the two.

Young able to break through and get some shots in on MVP. MVP orders security out and punts Young below the belt as security holds him. Armbreaker connects on Young and MVP finally gives Young his wish for a title match later tonight.

Rockstar Spud in the house with the camera crew. Spud takes refuge behind a couch as he hears Bully Ray coming down the hall. Bully asks the camera crew what they're doing and they reply that Dixie sent them. Bully catches the drift and yanks Spud from behind the couch. Bully tells the camera not to go anywhere as he chokes Spud down.

Match Four: Mr. Anderson vs. "Cowboy" James Storm

Mr. Anderson opening up with right hands. "Cowboy" James Storm whipped from corner to corner. Clothesline from Anderson puts Storm down and another takes him outside. Anderson with a right hand and slamming the head of Storm off the ring steps. Anderson unloading body shots and punches to the head.

Anderson sends Storm inside, only to be caught in an armbreaker across the top rope. Anderson sends Storm into the ring post on his arm as well. Storm brawling outside and slams the left arm across the ring steps.

Back inside, both trading blows. Storm knocks Anderson down and works the arm. Anderson with an elbow and a clothesline of his own. Both look for slams and escape. Anderson has his arm kicked, but he recovers to land a swinging neckbreaker. Storm in the corner and Anderson charges, but he kicks him away and moves up top. Anderson with the rolling senton slam and looking for the Mic Check. Storm corners the referee to land a low blow and rolls Anderson up. Nearfall as Storm gets caught with his feet on the ropes.

Storm looks for a powerbomb and Anderson attempts a backdrop out. Storm scoots out to land a running DDT for a pair of nearfalls. Storm moves outside and brings in the beer bottle. Storm looks to crack the bottle over the head, but Anderson looks for Mic Check. The referee tosses the bottle away and Storm spits beer into the eyes of Anderson to break the Mic Check and land a Last Call Superkick.

Winner by pinfall: "Cowboy" James Storm

Samuel Shaw shown in a padded room. An attendant tells Shaw there is someone to see him. Shaw calls for Christy and asks if Christy is here to see him.

Three-Way Match Five for the TNA X Division Championship: Sanada (c) vs. Tigre Uno vs. DJ Z

DJ Z distracts Tigre Uno and Sanada to land shots to the midsection to start. Uno and Sanada take him out with a double spinebuster. Sanada looks for the slingshot and Uno gets a rollup for a nearfall. Both men exchanging and Uno with an enzuigiri that corners Sanada. Uno sent into the corner and he gets the boot up, only for Sanada to land a hurricanrana. Standing moonsault misses and Sanada turns it to a dropkick that sends Uno outside.

DJ Z in and working Sanada in the corner. Z sent to the opposite corner and he floats over, only for Sanada to work the rolling cradle for a nearfall. Tiger Suplex is countered by a back elbow in the corner from Z. Z sent into the corner and Sanada looks for the monkey flip, but Z drops down and sends Sanada into the turnbuckle. Uno sent back to the floor and Z with a double knee drop to the back of Sanada as he is laid on the second rope for a nearfall.

Z landing shots to the head and works Sanada in the corner. Sanada sent into the corner hard and Z gets a nearfall. Uno again on the apron and Z sends him into the turnbuckle holders to rid of him again. Sanada landing body shots and chops in the corner now on Z. Z tries a reversal, only to get another chop.

Uno reenters the match as Z and Sanada trade shots. Double missile dropkick takes both men outside. Double corkscrew splash takes out both outside and Uno brings Z back in. Uno looks for the Sabertooth Splash, only to be crotched by Z. Sanada with a springboard chop and a bridging Tiger Suplex on Z.

Winner by pinfall and still TNA X Division Champion: Sanada

Dixie Carter gets a call from Rockstar Spud's phone from Bully. Bully tells Carter that Spud is a little tied up now and she is all alone.

Samuel Shaw is joined by Gunner in his padded room. Gunner tells Shaw he is here because he thinks he needs someone to talk to.

Video package recaps the injuries suffered by Kurt Angle at hands of Ethan Carter III.

Dixie Carter in her house. Carter calls Bully and asks for it to end right now. Carter finds Spud down and out in the office of her house. Carter asks Spud where Bully Ray is, only to have the door shut behind her. Bully Ray says none of this would have happened if she hadn't done what she did at Sacrifice. Bully makes Carter say that Bully doesn't fear her. Bully promises to make all of this go away if Carter admits she fears him. Carter starts to say it, only for Bully to be knocked out from behind by Ethan Carter III. Carter tells Bully she fears no one as they stand over him.

Video package recaps last week's saga involving Bobby Roode, MVP, and Eric Young. A tweet from MVP is shown saying Roode has been suspended indefinitely from TNA.

Eric Young starts an attack outside before the match starts and chokes MVP with his own shirt. MVP counters a whip and sends Young into the steel steps on his arm. MVP puts the arm of Young in between the post and the steps and pushes with his foot. MVP then kicks it and begins to stomp Young down. Young has his arm torqued along the barricade and he drops as we break.

Match Six for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Eric Young (c) vs. MVP

We return with the match being made official as Eric Young is put in the ring. MVP continuing to work the injured left arm of Young. Young fighting back, only to take a knee to the midsection that gets MVP a nearfall.

Young sent into the corner on his arm. Snapmare into a neck crank and armbar combo from MVP. Young fighting back with right hands. MVP sweeps the leg of Young and stomps him down in the corner. Big boot attempt in the corner misses for MVP and Young on the attack with rights. Discus clothesline drops MVP. Forearm shot from Young drops MVP and Young going up top.

Kenny King steps into the ring and attacks Young.

Winner by disqualification and still TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Eric Young

MVP demands the referee restart the match. The referee refuses and MVP demands it. King drops the referee and the beating on Young continues. Bobby Lashley runs down to the ring and stalks King and MVP before hitting a Spear on Young.

King brings in a chair and a second. The chairs are sat face-to-face and Lashley powerslams Young through the chairs. The show closes with MVP and his new stable taunting Young with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
