Stone Cold Steve Austin supports same-sex marriage
'Some churches have the high horse they get on'

The Texas Rattlesnake recently took aim at a venomous conversation that’s sweeping through the U.S. ahead of this November’s mid-term elections.

Retired WWE superstar “Stone Cold Steve Austin” is back stirring things up the same way he did a decade ago in the ring – this time, however, it’s getting political.

Austin, whose career spanned more than a decade, took to his podcast a few months back to chime in on the legality of same-sex marriage in the States.

“Everybody is going crazy about this and some of the churches say ... you can’t do that,” Austin started. “I’m for same-sex marriage. I don’t give a s--- if two guys, two gals, guy-gal or whatever it is ... I believe that any human being in America or any human being in the (world) that wants to be married, more power to them.”

Austin, a 49-year-old beer-chugging redneck who appeared at WrestleMania XXX earlier this month, has stated he isn’t overly religious. He now splits time between his L.A. and South Texas homes following a Hall of Fame career that included six world championships.

“Some churches have the high horse they get on and say, ‘We as a church do not believe in that’. Which one of these motherf---er talked to God and God said same-sex marriage is a no-can-do?

“So two cats can’t get married if they want to get married but a guy can go murder 14 people, molest five kids and then go to f---ing prison and accept God and He’s going to let him into heaven? That don’t jive with me.”

And that’s the bottom line, according to Stone Cold.
